Support your child in remembering key concepts

Students often think Math is about memorizing many formulas.

In reality, remembering a few key concepts and recognizing patterns can make solving problems faster and less stressful.

Encourage your child to review a little each day instead of trying to memorize everything the night before the exam.

5 Things to Remember Before the UPCAT

1. Trust Your Preparation
You know more than what you think.

2. Be Healthy
Sleep well. Eat breakfast. Stay hydrated. Your brain needs energy.

3. Be Confident
Believe in yourself. Confidence won't answer the questions... but it helps you think clearly.

4. Prepare Your Things Beforehand
Avoid the last-minute panic. Prepare the things you’ll need for the test such as test permit, pencils, eraser, sharpener, snacks and clothes to wear beforehand.

5. Do Not Study The Day Before The Test
Relax. Chill. Reading books, answering reviewers and solving problems won’t do you any good at this point. Just calm your mind, enjoy the day and go about your usual day.
