UPFI is accepting applications for 𝐨𝐧𝐞 (𝟏) 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for 1st semester AY 2026-27.

Applicants should have obtained a graduate degree (MA, MFA, or PhD) or be working toward one and be well-versed in film theory, criticism, and history, including Philippine cinema history, world cinema and visual culture; it is a plus if the applicant has published in film studies or has a creative practice.

UPFI is also accepting applications for 𝐭𝐰𝐨 (𝟐) 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 for 1st semester AY 2026-27.

Applicants should have a creative practice and have already produced films/moving image works. They should be able to teach theory and practice and handle one or a combination of the following production courses: scriptwriting, animation, photography, and acting

Interested applicants must submit on or before December 5, 2025 (Friday), 5PM the following documents to 𝘶𝘱𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘦.𝘶𝘱𝘥@𝘶𝘱.𝘦𝘥𝘶.𝘱𝘩 :
