πΏπ₯ Honored to be part of a global movement where martial arts serve not only people, but the planet.
This June, Arena Fitness Dojo, Wushu Arena Philippines, and Arena Aikido Club proudly joined One Tree, One Movement 2026, a worldwide initiative by the Martial Arts Coalition for Sustainable Development (MCS) uniting martial arts organizations across multiple countries in support of environmental action and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
As the Philippinesβ representative, our contribution centered around the belief that βMovement is for Every Body, and movement is also for the planet.β
π΅π Highlights of our participation:
πΏ YOUR BODY, YOUR PLANET
Self-Defense and Environmental Awareness Workshop for Girls in partnership with KALFI Pathfinder Summer Camp, combining Aikido self-defense, Wushu wellness, and environmental stewardship.
π³ MOVE FOR NATURE Campaign
Students and coaches of all ages filmed outdoor training sessions in parks and natural spaces, reminding us that we do not simply train in natureβwe train because of it, and therefore we must protect it.
π From children and beginners to working adults and senior practitioners, our community demonstrated that martial arts can contribute to:
β
SDG 3 β Good Health and Well-being
β
SDG 5 β Gender Equality
β
SDG 10 β Reduced Inequalities
β
SDG 11 β Sustainable Cities and Communities
β
SDG 13 β Climate Action
Thank you to the Martial Arts Coalition for Sustainable Development () and all participating organizations around the world for showing that martial arts extend beyond competition and medals.
Because true martial arts teach us not only how to protect ourselvesβbut also how to protect the world we live in.
πΏπ₯ Movement for Every Body. Movement for the Planet.

For decades, martial arts organizations around the world have contributed to their communities through education, youth development, inclusion, and environmental initiatives. While these efforts have created meaningful impact in their respective communities, opportunities to showcase their collective contribution on a global scale have been limited.
Through One Tree, One Movement, a campaign by @martialartsfordev, martial arts organizations from multiple countries came together in the first coordinated global initiative of its kind focused on nature.
During Environment Month, martial arts organizations from multiple countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean participated through activities ranging from tree planting and environmental education to youth engagement, awareness raising, and community action.
While each organization responded in its own way, all shared a common belief: martial arts can play a meaningful role in advancing sustainable development and fostering a stronger relationship between people and nature.
We extend our sincere appreciation to every participating organization whose commitment helped bring this movement to life.
We also recognize the invaluable contribution of the MCS Youth Ambassadors, whose advocacy, creativity, and dedication helped amplify the campaign across countries and communities.
Together, these efforts highlight the growing role of the martial arts sector in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals and supporting environmental action at both local and global levels. With additional commitments continuing throughout Environment Month, the movement remains active across participating communities.
