Tour 167 Sea Travel Management Class Welcomes Ms. Aurora Niebla
The Tour 167 Sea Travel Management class of Professor Maria Lourdes Bendebel welcomed Ms. Aurora Niebla, Acting Section Head for Hotel Training and Administration at the StarDream Cruises.
During the session, Ms. Niebla shared an inspiring and insightful account of her personal and professional journey in the cruise line industry. She highlighted the realities of building a career at sea, emphasizing that the path is rarely linear and is shaped by both challenges and triumphs. She discussed the unique demands of the cruise line industry, underscoring the importance of perseverance, stamina, adaptability, and strong personal values while remaining grounded in oneโs purpose.
A key highlight of the talk was her encouragement for students to embrace uncertainty and confidently navigate opportunities within the global tourism and maritime sectors. The session provided valuable insights into life on board and the professional standards expected in the cruise industry.
