As you reach this meaningful milestone, we extend our warmest congratulations to all the Grade 10 officers of the Interact Club. Your journey has been defined by dedication, responsibility, and a genuine heart for service, and it is truly commendable to see how much you have contributed throughout your term.

You have shown what real leadership looks likeโ€”not just through titles, but through actions that made a difference. From planning and organizing projects to actively participating in club initiatives, you have consistently demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and perseverance. Each effort you gave, big or small, helped strengthen the club and inspired your fellow members to do the same.

Beyond the projects and responsibilities, you have also created memories that reflect unity, friendship, and growth. You learned how to lead, how to listen, and how to work with others toward a common goal. These experiences have shaped you not only as officers, but as individuals who are ready to take on greater challenges ahead.

We sincerely thank you for the time, effort, and passion you shared with the Interact Club. Your contributions have made a lasting impact that will continue to be felt even beyond your term. You have set a standard of service and leadership that others can look up to.

As you continue your journey and beyond, may you carry with you everything you have learnedโ€”discipline, empathy, teamwork, and the spirit of service. There will be many more opportunities waiting for you to grow and lead in different ways, and we are confident that you will continue to shine wherever you go.

Congratulations once again, Grade 10 officers. Your efforts matter, your leadership matters, and your impact will not be forgotten. ๐Ÿ’™

None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the dedication, cooperation, and unity of our IAC-ERHS officers and Interact Club members, who wholeheartedly shared their time, effort, and talents in every project we carried out. Behind every recognition is a story of teamwork, late preparations, problem-solving, and the willingness to go beyond what is expectedโ€”all driven by the desire to serve.

We are also sincerely grateful for our Interact Club advisers, whose guidance, patience, and unwavering support continuously shaped us into better leaders and individuals. Your belief in our potential pushed us to grow, to lead with purpose, and to remain grounded in service despite challenges.

To our sponsoring club, the Rotary Club of Quezon City Circle, thank you for your constant support, trust, and generosity. Your presence and guidance in every district event and initiative gave us the strength and confidence to represent our club with pride and excellence.

Above all, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the ERHS students and the community who became part of our initiatives. You are the very reason why our projects exist. Every smile, every participation, and every life we were able to touch gave deeper meaning to everything we do. These recognitions go far beyond medals and titlesโ€”they represent the impact we have created together and the purpose we continue to carry.

As we celebrate these achievements, we also look forward to continuing the legacy of service, leadership, and excellence. This is not the end of our journey, but a reminder that there is still so much more we can do, more lives to reach, and more change to create.

Think about what success means to you when youโ€™re just starting out. Maybe itโ€™s getting good grades, finishing your tasks on time, or moving up the ladder in your job. You focus on learning new skills, fixing your mistakes, and making sure youโ€™re doing the best you can for yourself. Thatโ€™s exactly what Jack Welch was talking about when he said, โ€œBefore you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself.โ€

When youโ€™re not in charge of a team or organization, your main job is to build a strong foundation for who you are and what you can do. You spend time figuring out your strengths โ€“ like being good at solving problems or talking to people โ€“ and working on your weaknesses, so you can handle harder work down the line. You learn how to manage your time, stay calm under pressure, and take responsibility for your choices. Every win you get and every mistake you fix helps you become a more capable person. This part of your journey isnโ€™t selfish โ€“ itโ€™s necessary. You canโ€™t lead others well if you donโ€™t know how to lead yourself first.

Once you step into a leadership role, everything changes. The way you measure success shifts completely. Now, itโ€™s not just about how well you do โ€“ itโ€™s about how well your whole team does.

As a leader, your job is to help every person on your team or organization do their best work and become the best version of themselves. That means taking the time to understand what each team member is good at and what they want to achieve. You teach them new skills, give them chances to try new things, and support them when they face problems. When someone makes a mistake, you donโ€™t blame them โ€“ you use it as a chance to help them learn. You celebrate their wins like theyโ€™re your own, because when they grow, your team grows, and your whole organization gets stronger.

For example, if youโ€™re leading a small group at work, growing others might mean training a new member until they feel confident on their own. It could mean giving a quiet team member a chance to speak up in meetings, so they can share their ideas and build their confidence. Or it might mean helping someone who wants to move up learn the skills they need to take on a bigger role. When you invest in your teamโ€™s growth, theyโ€™ll work harder, stay more committed, and bring their best ideas to the table.

Whether youโ€™re just hoping to be a leader one day, or youโ€™re already in charge of people, Welchโ€™s words matter. If youโ€™re still growing yourself, keep pushing to learn more and get better โ€“ every step you take now will help you lead well later. If youโ€™re a current leader, look around at your team. Are you giving them the support they need to grow? Are you focusing on their success as much as your own?

Leadership isnโ€™t about having power over people โ€“ itโ€™s about using your position to lift others up. When you grow yourself first, you gain the skills and wisdom to lead. When you focus on growing others, you create a team that can achieve amazing things together. Thatโ€™s what true leadership success looks like.

To our dearest outgoing School Principal IV โ”€ Dr. Modesto G. Villarin,

Today is a very special day as we celebrate two wonderful milestones in your life โ€“ your birthday and your well-deserved retirement for being the School Teacher and School Principal! On behalf of all members of the Interact Club, we want to express our deepest gratitude and warmest wishes as you step into this new chapter.

We feel so blessed and thankful to have you as our principal during the past 2 years, especially since youโ€™ve been with us right from the very start of our term. Without hesitation, you approved every single one of our initiatives, showing us that you truly believe in what young people can do to make a difference. Your trust in us never wavered, and that meant the world to our entire club. You made us feel valued, respected, and like we were real partners in making our school community stronger and happier.

Throughout your time as principal, weโ€™ve seen how much you care about every student, teacher, and staff member in this school. Youโ€™ve always made sure that our voices are heard, that our needs are taken care of, and that we have everything we need to learn, grow, and contribute to our school. Youโ€™ve led with kindness, fairness, and a genuine desire to help everyone succeed. Even on busy days, you always found time to ask how we were doing, to give us words of encouragement, and to make sure we knew we could count on you.

As you celebrate your birthday today, we wish you all the happiness, good health, and joy in the world. May each new day bring you reasons to smile, time to relax, and opportunities to do all the things you love. Youโ€™ve spent so many years working hard for our school and our community โ€“ now itโ€™s time to focus on yourself and your loved ones.

And as you retire from your position, please know that the legacy youโ€™ve left behind at E. Rondon High School will never be forgotten. Youโ€™ve built a place where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to be their best selves. The way youโ€™ve encouraged student organizations like ours has helped shape not just our school, but also the leaders of tomorrow. We will carry the lessons youโ€™ve taught us โ€“ about working together, caring for others, and never giving up on our goals โ€“ with us wherever we go.

We want you to know that you will always have a home here at E. Rondon High School. We will continue to work hard to make you proud, just as youโ€™ve made us proud to be part of this school.

Thank you, Sir Villarin, for everything youโ€™ve done for us, for our club, and for our school. You are more than just our principal โ€“ you are a mentor, a friend, and someone we all look up to.

Happy Birthday and Happy Retirement, Sir! May your future be filled with love, laughter, and all the wonderful things you so richly deserve!
