NOVALICHES, QUEZON CITY, October 1, 2026 β Colegio de San Bartolome Novaliches (CSBN) welcomed officials from De La SalleβCollege of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) for a school visitation under the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Institutional Mission Partnerships for Advancement, Capacity-building, and Transformation (IMPACT) program.
The engagement brought together leaders and representatives of both institutions for an exchange of experiences, practices, and insights, creating opportunities to explore areas of collaboration in support of Catholic education.
CSBN is one of nine member-schools of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Novaliches Educational System (RCBN-ES). The school is led by Rev. Fr. Albert N. Delvo, Ph.D., School Director and Chairperson of the Catholic Superintendents Conference of the Philippines (CSCP).
In his opening message, Fr. Delvo expressed openness to future collaboration, saying, βWe look forward to exploring a potential collaboration and partnership that will be mutually beneficial.β
Leading the DLS-CSB delegation was Br. Edmundo L. Fernandez, FSC, President of DLS-CSB, CEAP Treasurer, and Trustee-at-Large. In his special message, Br. Fernandez underscored the importance of solidarity among Catholic educational institutions, expressing his support for the partnership: βCEAP schoolsβCatholic schools should help each other.β
Br. Fernandez was accompanied by Mr. Benhur Ong, Chancellor; Mr. Butch Tecson, Vice President for Administration and Innovation; Marian Patricia Francisco, Dean; Mr. Michael Lewis Ong, Senior High School Principal; and Ms. Vivien Mae Basmayor, Corporate Affairs Executive.
Mr. Paul Polintan, LPT, MAEd, CSBN School Principal, together with Regina Cecilia G. Molina, Shairmaine Asoy, Mr. Peregrino D. Asistol, and other members of the Management Committee, welcomed the DLS-CSB delegation alongside representatives from the parent and student communities.
In his welcome message, Mr. Polintan expressed the significance of the delegationβs presence to the CSBN community, sharing, βYour presence alone is a ray of hope for all of us.β
The school presentation provided the delegation with an overview of CSBNβs institutional context, Senior High School program, enrollment initiatives, and financial considerations, including its tuition and other fees.
A school tour followed, allowing the DLS-CSB delegation to see CSBNβs facilities and learning environment firsthand. The visit also included a dialogue among school leaders and representatives, providing an opportunity to exchange perspectives and identify possible areas for future collaboration.
The engagement reflects the thrust of the CEAP IMPACT program to strengthen partnerships, promote shared learning, and support the capacity-building and transformation of Catholic schools. It allowed both institutions to strengthen relationships, share experiences, and explore ways of advancing their shared mission. #
