CELEBRATING SUCCESS: RRP CULMINATION AT KNLHS
The Culminating Program of the Regional Remedial Program (RRP), a program by Department of Education to ensure that learners can progress to the next grade level with the necessary competencies in Reading and Math, was successfully held at Krus Na Ligas High School on June 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Ma'am Annabel O. Narte, the Master of Ceremonies and the RRP Coordinator, warmly welcomed the attendees. The national anthem, “Lupang Hinirang” and a heartfelt prayer were played through audio-video presentations. Our very own principal, Sir Noel M. De Los Reyes, delivered an inspiring message to express his heartfelt appreciation for the hard work and dedication of both students and faculty.
The event even highlighted the journey of each student who showed determination and perseverance throughout the program. It was followed by a spectacular performance by the ABKDabra Band, featuring “ABKD ng Krusian” (the KNLHS Station ID), which energized the crowd.
The awarding of certificates, led by Sir Noel M. De Los Reyes and Ma'am Annabel O. Narte, served as a testament to everyone’s collective effort and a gesture of gratitude for their unwavering commitment towards their achievement.
To close the ceremony, Ma'am Rhodora N. Sabandal, the English Department Chair, delivered heartfelt closing remarks, encouraging the learners to stay committed to their academic journey.
It was an outstanding event, filled with learning, reflection, and pride. Students walked away with lessons they’ll carry for life, while teachers left with memories they’ll always cherish and share.

Yesterday, June 11, 2025, after the simulation of classes in the morning session, Brigada Pagbasa of Filipino Department was held at Room 103 of the Multi-Purpose Building. Several Grade 8 students and volunteers from Kariton ng Maralita Network —an alliance of individuals and organizations in the aim of raising the demands of urban poor communities— were gathered inside the classroom under the supervision of Ma’am Cristina H. Clemente for the said event. As the students read stories, guided by KMN, this activity helped enhance their reading and comprehension skills.
Later in the day, English Department’s Brigada Pagbasa also took place in the same building—Room 201. Ms. Marilou “Miyu” Demeterio, together with her English Journalism students, the Crusaders, conducted a storytelling session for Grade 7 students, focusing on the importance of cleanliness.
“Cleanliness leads to a happy environment,” quoted by Ms. Demeterio to the Grade 7 learners.
This approach, through storytelling and interaction, fosters not only literacy but also character development, encouraging every Krusian to nurture their reading skills and to be responsible individuals.

Be a friend, be of help
In the midst of tragedy caused by the fire at Daan Tubo Brgy. UP Campus yesterday, around 50 families lost their home.
To help those affected families, the Crusaders Publication is encouraging you to assist our fellow Krusians who got affected by the fire by donating canned goods, clothes, hygiene kits, and other necessities that they can use in their daily lives while they are still recovering from the fire accident.
You may coordinate with the members of the SSLG, Crusaders Publication, class advisers and ESP Club members for your donations.
Be a responsible Krussian, be a friend!
