WHAT'S UP TRAVELERS? 👩‍🚀

Only 2️⃣ DAYS LEFT and we're about to take off for your last mission!

Did you know that polar bears and penguins do not live together? 🐻‍❄️🐧

Polar bears live in the Arctic but not in the Antarctic. In fact, the word Arctic comes from the Greek word for ‘bear’ – arkoúda. So in fact, Antarctic basically means no bears – and that’s where you’ll find the penguins. 🥶

Additionally, Polar bears don’t hibernate. 😴 Females will spend more time in their dens when pregnant, but generally these large animals keep going throughout the winter. Meanwhile penguins are called "flippered flyers" as this bird's wings are adapted for swimming, not flight, hence it cannot fly. 🦅

But don't you worry, unlike polar bears, humans can sleep! Only one more night until AgHamon 2024, we'll see you there. 🫡

THREE DAYS LEFT UNTIL AGHAMON 2024! 🔬

Did you know that there is actually no such thing as “NOW,” and that everything is past? Our brains don’t perceive events until about 80 milliseconds; also, it takes time for light to reach us. As a result, everything is in the PAST.

When you see the sun outside your window, the light is already eight minutes and 20 seconds old! ☀️🔭 This fine line between the present and the past is part of the reason why some physicists argue that there’s no such thing as “now,” and that the present moment is no more than an illusion.
