The UP Mathematics Majors' Circle presents the 𝐂𝐒 𝟏𝟏 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞!

Join our facilitators, Paolo Rollan and Theo Pantoja, as they guide you through key programming principles to get you exam-ready. You can also request specific topics via the sign-up form and ask questions directly during our interactive Q&A segment!

This intensive review is completely open to 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲—including non-Math majors, non-CS majors, and non-CS 11 takers.

𝗨𝗣𝗠𝗠𝗖'𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗬𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗦

The UP Mathematics Majors' Circle continues its demand for accountability amidst the successive calamities that have caused disaster, discomfort, and death among the people.

Over 8 million individuals have been displaced by torrential rains. Flooding has been reported in over 600 areas across seven different regions in the country. Over five thousand nationwide cases of leptospirosis have been documented in the first eight months of the year.

These are not merely numbers. These represent the lives of those who have suffered under a system that has failed to address pressing national concerns, seated by officials who have embezzled millions-worth of funds rather than providing the people with long-term and effective solutions to disaster.

It has been a year since our last call for justice. Still, these cases of corruption have yet to be resolved. We carry the consequences of injustice in our daily lives—in the streets we wade knee-deep through, in the traffic-clogged roads we pass, and in the endless waiting as we seek for progress.

As an academic organization, we value the safety, security, and quality of education students receive in times of crisis. In the inconsistencies in the shift to alternative modes of instruction, students face the challenges of keeping up with lessons, the struggles of public transportation, and the inconveniences of unstable internet services.

Thus, we call on the UP community to remain committed to justice and awareness, as we interrogate corruption and the many inadequacies towards disaster preparedness. We cannot reduce these problems to entertainment. We cannot normalize compromising the lives of our youth and people.
