The 34th International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2026)
Theme: Reimagining Learning Ecologies in the Age of Intelligent Technologies

The Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE) invites submissions to the 34th International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2026). All accepted papers will be published in the official conference proceedings, which will be submitted to Elsevier for potential inclusion in Scopus. The main conference proceedings (excluding posters) will also be submitted to Thomson Reuters for consideration in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI). Authors of distinguished full papers will be invited to submit extended versions for possible publication in Research and Practice in Technology Enhanced Learning (RPTEL), the official journal of APSCE.

Under the theme “Reimagining Learning Ecologies in the Age of Intelligent Technologies,” ICCE 2026 invites the global community to examine how intelligent technologies are reshaping learning ecologies - holistic systems encompassing learners, educators, communities, technologies, environments, and the relationships that connect them.

Conference Structure
ICCE 2026 adopts APSCE’s established meta-conference structure, comprising seven theme-based sub-conferences coordinated by Program Committees appointed by APSCE’s Special Interest Groups. Together, these form a five-day academic program reflecting the breadth and depth of research in computers in education.
The conference includes:
• Seven theme-based sub-conferences
• Keynote speeches
• Theme-based invited talks and expert panels
• Pre-conference workshops and tutorials/symposiums/interactive events
• Doctoral Student Consortia (DSC)
• Early Career Workshop (ECW)
• Showcase of Advancements in Technology-Enhanced Learning in Underrepresented Countries (SATELUC)
Researchers, educators, students, policymakers, and technology developers are warmly invited to contribute.

Submission Categories
Submissions are invited in the following categories:
• Full papers (8–10 pages)
• Short papers (5–6 pages)
• Poster papers (2–3 pages)
• Workshop and tutorial/symposiums/interactive event papers
• Doctoral Student Consortia (DSC)
• Early Career Workshop (ECW)
• SATELUC submissions

Review Process and Submission Guidelines
The conference follows a single-blind review process: reviewers will know the authors’ identities, but authors will not know the reviewers’. Anonymization is therefore not required.

Please refer to the submission guidelines and download the latest version of the Paper Template (Word version) when preparing your manuscript. We strongly recommend using the template directly to ensure compliance with formatting requirements.

Thematic Focus
ICCE 2026 particularly welcomes research that:
• Advances human–AI collaboration in learning
• Explores data-informed and socio-technical educational systems
• Promotes inclusive design and equitable access
• Introduces innovative methodologies or theoretical perspectives
• Envisions adaptive, future-ready learning ecologies

Organization
General Chair: Hiroaki Ogata, Kyoto University, Japan
International Program Chair: Yanjie Song, The Education University of Hong Kong
International Program Co-Chair: Ivica Botički, University of Zagreb, Croatia

Call For Papers: Educational Data Mining 2026- 16/12/2025

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to share the Call for Papers for the 2026 International Conference on Educational Data Mining.

Educational Data Mining (EDM) is a leading international forum for high-quality research that mines datasets to answer educational research questions, including exploring how people learn and how they teach. These data may originate from a variety of learning contexts, including learning and information management systems, interactive learning environments, intelligent tutoring systems, educational games, and data-rich learning activities. Educational data mining considers a wide variety of types of data, including but not limited to log files, student-produced artifacts, discourse, learning content and context, sensor data, and multi-resource and multimodal streams. The overarching goal of the Educational Data Mining research community is to support learners and teachers more effectively, by developing data-driven understandings of the learning and teaching processes in a wide variety of contexts and for diverse learners.

The 19th iteration of the conference, EDM 2026, will participate in the Festival of Learning 2026.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Educational Data Mining Across Borders: Bridging Disciplines, Contexts, and Perspectives.” Educational Data Mining has reached a stage where methods and findings are relevant across multiple areas of research and practice. Many of the challenges in learning and teaching cannot be addressed from a single perspective, and solutions are strengthened by crossing disciplinary, contextual, and cultural boundaries. EDM 2026 emphasizes the opportunities that emerge through building connections across disciplines, contexts, geographies, cultures, and societies. This year’s theme highlights work that integrates perspectives, links research and practice, and broadens the impact of educational data mining to support diverse and inclusive learning opportunities.

We welcome submissions of original research papers, short papers, industry papers, journal-track papers, posters, demonstrations, doctoral consortium submissions, as well as proposals for workshops and tutorials. Submissions may address methodological advances, theoretical contributions, practical applications, ethical and societal considerations, and interdisciplinary approaches related to educational data mining. Contributions from researchers, practitioners, and industry partners across disciplines and global contexts are strongly encouraged.

Important Dates
Abstracts due: February 2, 2026
Full, Short, and Industry Paper Submissions due: February 9, 2026

Step into the abandoned mansion of a crony, and armed with only a hand-crank radio, uncover the hidden truths behind the Marcos Dictatorship. Investigate controversial infrastructure projects, public health crises, and a press constantly threatened by the state propaganda machine.

Was the period of Martial Law truly prosperous, or just a carefully constructed illusion? Come, play “Heritage Hero: The Secrets of the ‘Golden Era’” and find out!

This event is open to all current Ateneo college students. Interested participants may register by clicking here: bit.ly/HeritageHero

Everyone is also welcome to watch, cheer on their friends, and help out while the game is in progress.
