St. John of Beverly School, Inc. continues to strengthen its culture of safety and preparedness through the conduct of earthquake drills on June 17 and June 18, 2026.
Today, June 18, our school proudly joined the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting disaster awareness and ensuring that everyone is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed during emergency situations.
Through these drills, our students, faculty, staff, and school personnel were given the opportunity to practice proper earthquake response procedures, reinforcing the importance of remaining calm, alert, and prepared at all times.
As part of our commitment to safety, we encourage all students to bring their hard hats to school and properly label them with their names. Hard hats may be kept under their chairs for easy access during emergencies, helping ensure a quicker and safer response when needed.
At SJB, we believe that preparedness saves lives. By regularly conducting disaster preparedness activities, we continue to foster a safe, resilient, and responsive school community.
Together, let us stay informed, stay prepared, and stay safe.
