𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, we all have surely envisioned how it would turn out. Lunch break with friends, gossips in the corner of the room, sneaky laughter and chitchats in class, emotional yet silly open forums, and much more that pushed us through the end of a wonderful year to start another.

However, as desolating as it seems, life never runs out of unexpected turns. But it is in these turns we realise, the essence of having it on our lives. Thence, 'though the plans we had in our minds cannot be done in this turn, that 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀, where we can grow in every aspects of our being.

The previous school year has not been easy for all of us. It challenged all of us to different extremities that are almost impossible to surpass. But surely, it brought something out of us. 𝗜𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆-𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗻, not even by the uproar of raging tempest and deluge.

Even though we are not the same faces we would see around us in the four corners of our rooms, we will still be together, united as one, in achieving our dreams. Just keep it in our minds, that 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁. 𝗜𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀.

Greetings, dearest Abueva! The women’s month may have already gone by, but really, the exceptional dedication, and brilliance of the students from the 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗦𝗦 strand, successfully exhibited what Women Empowerment—to empower, and be empowered—truly means. 💪

The 2024 National Women’s Month was celebrated in different ways. But our way has been quite extraordinary, with the theme ‘𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗨𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗦 : 𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻!’, the HUMSS students went all out to use their creativity and resourcefulness to showcase their different perceptions of women. The four groups who stood out are as follows :

Congratulations to the winners of the Assemblage Making during the Women’s Month, held last March 2024. We would also like to extend our Congratulatory message to 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗦𝗦 11 - 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘇, as well as, 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗦𝗦 11 - 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 , who had also been part of this wonderful event. 👏

All our hard work for the 3rd Quarter Midterms finally paid off! We have faced quite a lot of challenges during the first two months of the 2nd Semester. We failed more than a lot of times, but our failure is where our triumph begins. Apart from failing, we also passed, and excelled in our own ways. ✨

From the curfews we exceeded outside of our houses to reach a deadline, to the all nighters we pulled to finish a project, and to every single thing we did that we gave our all to, it is all the attestation of our passion and perseverance.

Congratulations, dearest Abueva! Let's bounce back and go all out for one last time. We can do it! 💪💙
