Heavy rain brought by Tropical Storm Mario (Fung-Wong) forced the suspension of classes in parts of Metro Manila and nearby areas for Friday. In Metro Manila, Quezon City and Marikina City announced the suspension of classes. Classes were suspended in Rizal from preschool to college.
