This weekend, I set foot at the Ateneo again after 15 years of being there during my first-ever teaching job right after graduation. I attended the Ateneo Junior High School Fair with our eldest daughter.

I took the opportunity to buy Ateneo merchandise too, such as shirts, cap, and face mask.

(JEC) Started the love month with a thing that I love: public speaking.

Grateful and humbled to have been invited to share about innovation with the faculty of Antipolo City Senior High School during their in-service training.

I also used the opportunity to highly encourage the teachers to strengthen the fight against fake news/propaganda/historical denialism and revisionism so that fake remains fake, and not accepted as fact even without basis.

It's always an honor to be in front of an audience to share experience and expertise, so this duty, this responsibility of being a trainer must always be held in high esteem.

Good Manners Reminders in Singapore

One (if not THE) major reason why I love and envy Singapore is with how everything seems to be thought of and implemented in terms of or "the Self in others," for example:

People practice CLAYGO (Clean As You Go) as sign of respect to the cleaners and the next customers;

Places are well-maintained in consideration of people's health and well-being; and

The transport system is efficient and safe, for the people's benefit.

These reminders in train stations as part of the campaign by Singapore Kindness Movement are very powerful in instilling good values and attitude in their people and tourists, and I can only wish that this same campaign is implemented in other countries.

Learn more about the Kapwa, and how you can better think and act in consideration of others when you book JEC Trainings for your company trainings and seminars.

We conduct trainings on:

* Leadership
* Presentation Skills (Public Speaking)
* Sales and Marketing
* Customer Service
