SUBJECT: Christian Counseling (Part 2)

Course Description: Pastoral oversight vitally includes the task of counseling. Unfortunately, the usual sources of counseling today draw from secular psychology and pragmatic philosophy. This course will be taught by someone who is credentialed in the discipline of psychology, but committed to Christian principles of biblical oversight. It is an important tool for the pastor to complement his preaching ministry.,

A: Like the Friday Class, everyone is welcome to enroll (open to both men and women).

A: This class will run for two (2) semesters.
𝗤: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
A: The contribution is PHP 1,000 per semester.
𝗤: 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗠𝗔 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?
A: For full-time students, this class is already included in the full-time contribution. For part-time students, the rate remains as PHP 500 per subject, in addition to the tuition.
𝗤: 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲?
A: For non-GMA students, this class is fully online. It will be held together with GMA students.
𝗤: 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘀?
A: There will be no certificate after completion. Non-GMA students will not be required to submit any assignments.

❗️IMPORTANT: Registration is only open to MEN in the ministry (i.e. pastors or men engaged in the adult teaching ministry at their local churches).

Attending the first two weeks (from JANUARY 13-22, 2026) is FREE for all who will REGISTER, to allow participants to observe the classes before deciding to enroll for the whole semester.
GMA Alumni members are encouraged to register as well.

🚨 NO CLASSES for the rest of this week (Aug. 21-22)

In observance of the Philippine holiday, Ninoy Aquino Day, please be advised that there will be no GMA regular classes tomorrow (Thursday, August 21, 2025).

There will also be no Friday Class this August 22.

For both days, the classroom will be closed. There will be no Zoom sessions.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
