Grade 6 Recollection

Today, our Grade 6 Bridgetines took time to pause, reflect, and deepen their relationships with self, others, and God—the heart of our recollection.

Because recollection is about personal reflection and relationships, our non-Catholic students also joined this meaningful experience. For our Catholic students, the Sacrament of Reconciliation was a special moment of forgiveness, grace, and renewal. Our non-Catholic students were not asked to participate, as we respect their faith and beliefs.

May this experience leave our Bridgetines with hearts renewed, relationships strengthened, and lives ready to serve.

Bridget School at the Mass of the Holy Spirit!

As a Catholic school under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Cubao, our student leaders, altar servers, and moderators gathered at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral for a blessed Eucharistic celebration officiated by Bishop Elias Ayuban, Jr.

We pray for the Holy Spirit to guide our classrooms, deepen our faith, and kindle a passion for learning and service in every Bridgetine heart.

Same-Day Edit | Buwan ng Wika 2026 —Departamento ng Grade School

Bagama’t medyo nahuli ang ating culmination ng Buwan ng Wika dahil sa mga class suspension, hindi nito napahina ang ating pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino. Ang halaga ng ating wika ay hindi nagtatapos sa isang buwan—ito ay bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kultura, at pakikipagkapwa.

Ngayong ikalawang araw ng End-of-Term Block, masayang ipinagdiwang ng Grade School Department ang Buwan ng Wika na may temang:

“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik, Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Sinimulan ito sa makulay na parada ng mga mag-aaral na nakasuot ng kasuotang Filipino, na sinundan ng Art Making para sa Kinder–Grade 3 at Poster Making Contest para sa Grade 4–6.

Tampok din ang masiglang Programa sa Buwan ng Wika, na nagbigay-daan sa ating mga Bridgetine na maipakita ang kanilang talento, kultura, at pagmamahal sa wikang Filipino. Nagtapos ang pagdiriwang sa isang masayang Community Dance na nagbuklod sa lahat sa saya at pagkakaisa.

Samantala, nagkaroon ang Junior High School Department ng kanilang rechecking of exams and Catch-up Assessment Day. Bukas naman, sila ang magdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika habang ang Grade School ay magsasagawa ng rechecking ng mga exam. Pagkatapos nito, magkakaroon ng Fellowship Day ang Grades 4–6 upang mapalalim ang kanilang ugnayan at malinang ang kanilang social skills sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang mga gawain.

Sa kabila ng mga pagbabago sa iskedyul, patuloy nating ipinagdiriwang ang wika sapagkat ang pagpapahalaga rito ay hindi lamang para sa isang buwan, kundi bahagi ng ating buhay, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan.

ALAB: Knowledge That Protects, Action That Saves

📌 POST 3 OF 3 | SAFETY & LEADERSHIP SERIES

We concluded our Safety and Leadership Series during the first day of our End-of-Term Block with ALAB: Knowledge That Protects, Action That Saves—a Fire Safety Seminar and Demonstration designed to equip our students and personnel with practical knowledge and skills in responding to fire emergencies.

The session began with an understanding of how fire starts and its elements, followed by an introduction to the different types of fire extinguishers and the proper way to use them.

But learning about fire safety does not stop with knowing the concepts. The participants also witnessed and took part in an actual fire-extinguishing demonstration, gaining hands-on experience in using fire extinguishers properly.

The demonstration also included an important emergency situation involving an LPG tank on fire, showing the proper way to respond and safely close the LPG tank.

🔥 Knowledge protects. Preparedness gives us confidence. Action saves lives.

Our sincere gratitude to our speaker, Mr. Hernan L. Adriano, EMT, for sharing his knowledge and expertise on fire safety, and to the volunteers of the Santolan Fire Brigade for conducting the practical demonstrations and helping our Bridgetines learn how to respond during a fire emergency.

We also thank the Senior High School Tangkay Organization and their moderator, Ms. Aileen Buenavente, for initiating this meaningful and important activity. Your initiative helps build a culture of safety, preparedness, and responsibility in our school community.

At St. Bridget School, we believe that safety is everyone’s responsibility. Through activities like Road Safe, Euphrasian Leadership Training, and ALAB, we seek to form Bridgetines who are not only knowledgeable and capable but also responsible, prepared, and ready to act when it matters most.

With this, we complete our three-part Safety and Leadership Series for the first day of our End-of-Term Block.

EUPHRASIAN LEADERSHIP: Formed to Lead, Called to Serve

📌 POST 2 OF 3 | SAFETY & LEADERSHIP SERIES

Continuing our End-of-Term Block activities for September 14–18, St. Bridget School turns its focus from Road Safe to Leadership Formation through the Euphrasian Leadership Training.

Named after St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier, foundress of the Religious of the Good Shepherd, the training seeks to help our student leaders understand that leadership is not simply about holding a position—it is about service, responsibility, and being a good example to others.

Our student leaders were blessed to listen to Sr. Ana Cielo Matuloy, RGS, who gave a meaningful talk on “Who is an Euphrasian Leader?” She shared the leadership qualities exemplified by St. Mary Euphrasia and challenged our young leaders to carry these qualities into their own leadership journey.

Following the talk, our Grade School and High School student leaders participated in separate team-building activities designed to strengthen collaboration, communication, trust, and teamwork.

🤝 The Grade School Student Leaders were facilitated by Ms. Gabby Presto, a former Bridgetine who now teaches at the Primary Level on a part-time basis. Ms. Gabby herself was once a student leader and community leader, making her experience a meaningful example for our young leaders.

🤝 The High School Student Leaders were facilitated by Sir John Carlo Velasquez, who guided them through activities that encouraged teamwork, reflection, and stronger relationships among fellow student leaders.

At St. Bridget School, we believe that leadership is formed not only through positions and responsibilities but through experiences that shape the heart of a leader.

🚦 ROAD SAFE: Learning Safety Through Fun! 🚸

This week, September 14–18, marks the End-of-Term Block at St. Bridget School—a period set aside at the end of each term to complete important school activities without interrupting regular classroom instruction.

Today, our activities focus on Safety and Leadership, beginning with our Kindergarten learners who participated in an engaging and age-appropriate Interactive Road Safety Workshop facilitated by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP).

Through music, storytelling, movement, and interactive activities, our young Bridgetines learned basic road safety concepts—from proper road crossing and understanding traffic signals to practicing safe pedestrian behavior and staying alert around roads.

For our Kinder learners, learning safety is the first step toward becoming responsible Bridgetines who know how to care for themselves and others.

This is the first of three posts highlighting today’s activities during our End-of-Term Block. Road Safe is our first activity, focusing on helping our youngest learners develop awareness and safe habits.

DAY 3 TERM 1 EXAMINATION | SEPTEMBER 12, 2026

As previously announced, due to the consecutive suspensions of face-to-face classes, the Day 3 Term 1 Examination for Kinder to Grade 10 will proceed tomorrow, Saturday, September 12, 2026, following the announced examination schedule.

We understand that these adjustments may cause inconvenience to our families. However, the consecutive suspensions of face-to-face classes and the resulting changes to our school calendar are beyond the control of the school. We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work together to complete the examinations safely and responsibly.

For students who cannot take the examinations tomorrow due to safety concerns or previously planned and unavoidable commitments, please inform your child’s Class Adviser so that the necessary arrangements for a make-up examination can be scheduled.

We ask everyone to continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students while doing our best to fulfill our academic responsibilities.
