Delegates from Cabarrus Catholic College (CCC) conducted a strategic benchmarking visit to Kabankalan Catholic College (KCC) on August 17, 2026, aimed at gaining institutional insights and strengthening academic operations. The event, themed โ€œTogether Toward Excellence: KCC and CCC in a Benchmarking Exchange,โ€ was held at KCCโ€™s Student Affairs and Services Collaboration Room.

The visiting CCC delegation was formally received by Dr. Joe-Ann V. Jonota, LPT, Vice President for Academic Affairs at KCC, who delivered the welcome remarks. Following the opening formalities, KCC Human Resource Director Mr. Gilbert Intervalo introduced the host institutionโ€™s key administrators and presenters.

Throughout the afternoon, the CCC team gained insights into KCCโ€™s operational frameworks across six primary areas. School Registrar Fellame T. Monteclaro, MBA, outlined practices in documentary processing, digital records management, and credit transfer systems, while School Librarian Chrislene Felicia, RL, discussed efficient library resource management practices.

To address campus communications, Publication Coordinator Ms. Kyla Gonzales shared frameworks for managing student and institutional publications. Academic expansion strategies were presented by Dr. Eliand Rey Soliman, LPT, Dean of the College of Management, Accountancy, and Technology, who discussed the processing of documentary requirements for new degree offerings, with particular focus on the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) curriculum.

The session continued with presentations on research and community engagement. Research Director Paul Melcar C. Paglomutan, MAEd, detailed policies supporting institutional research, while Extension Director and NSTP Coordinator Jomar O. Agus, MAT, highlighted community outreach initiatives and National Service Training Program operations.

The event concluded with an interactive open forum between the CCC delegates and KCC department heads, followed by the formal closing remarks of KCC School President Rev. Fr. Richard L. Lachica, MAEd. The CCC delegation then participated in a guided tour of the campus. Ms. Hazel Lyne T. Labsog served as the master of ceremonies.

The Supreme Student Government (SSG) convened a Student Assembly to present its upcoming initiatives, introduce its committees, and provide an open platform for student feedback.

Hosted by SSG Vice President Kristine A. Caรฑete, the program commenced with traditional preliminaries, including an opening prayer, the National Anthem, the recitation of the schoolโ€™s Vision and Mission, and the singing of the School Hymn.
SSG President Aldwin Monroe G. Donguez then delivered the opening remarks, welcoming attendees and underscoring the vital role of student engagement in campus governance.

A core highlight of the event was the introduction of the SSG officers and the six executive committees. Officers detailed the specific functions of each committee to help students understand how the government operates and addresses various campus needs.

Elaborating on the purpose of the assembly, Vice President Caรฑete emphasized that the gathering serves as a dual-purpose space: keeping the student body informed while giving them a direct voice in school affairs. President Donguez and Vice President Caรฑete jointly presented the SSGโ€™s academic plans and proposed projects for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027, outlining key activities designed to enhance student life throughout the year.

The presentation transitioned into an open forum, allowing students to ask questions, seek clarifications, and raise specific campus concerns. SSG officers addressed each query directly, reinforcing transparent communication between leadership and the student body.

Concluding the event, Vice President Caรฑete delivered closing remarks centered on unity, cooperation, and active participation. She reminded attendees that effective student leadership relies on an informed, involved, and empowered student body.
