BRIEF HISTORY OF THE ABIERTAS
Abiertas Radiance School, Inc. (ARSI) was established in June 1991 as a project of Abiertas House of Friendship, Inc. It is a non-profit, non-stock, and non-sectarian school dedicated to the wholistic approach in learning and developing a child. Abiertas Radiance School is adequately equipped with up - to date educational materials and facilities responding to the i
ntellectual, emotional, social and moral needs of the child. A wide, clean and green area for the students’ outdoor academic and extra-curricular activities with plants and trees provides exhilarating surroundings greatly minimizing pollution from the main streets in the area. The school provides an atmosphere and experience of love and concern. Its teaching and non-teaching staff exercises great care to demonstrate the school’s Christian orientation and practices. Christian values are the priority concern of Abiertas Radiance School as it explores and develops the children’s learning potential. Radiance School was incorporated in 1994 with a ten-member evangelical Board of Trustees. In June 2004, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the amended Article of Incorporation increasing its Board of Trustees from ten to fifteen members and changing the corporate name of the school from Radiance School to Abiertas Radiance School, Inc. (ARSI) due to the expansion of its grade school and secondary level in addition to its Special Education (SPED) program. The Department of Education (DepEd) had granted its full recognition for the school to operate a complete elementary E-011 s. 2002 and secondary levels S-038 (R), s. 2013. VISION

Abiertas Radiance School, Inc. is an educational project of Abiertas House of Friendship, Inc. It is committed to deliver an educational program for the development of young minds through the use of effective and innovative educational strategies and learning experiences within an enriched and conducive Christian environment. SCHOOL OBJECTIVES
Abiertas Radiance School, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit center of learning. Its objectives are the following:
1. Dedicated to the wholistic development of children and youth based on the teaching of and life of Jesus
Christ.
2. Offering an atmosphere conducive to the development of the child to excel and be creative at work; to be a
critical thinker and make sound decisions; to be molded in Christian values and character; and to grow as a
responsible and productive Filipino citizen.
3. Providing children with special needs the appropriate interventions to maximize the child’s potential, and
develop values acceptable to society leading to his integration into the regular school setting.
