TURNOVER CEREMONIES OF THE UPIS BIOLOGY AND COMPUTER LABORATORIES UPGRADE PROJECT

UPIS expresses utmost gratitude to its benefactors, Gokongwei Brothers Foundation, Inc (GBF) and Shang Properties, Inc. with Kerry Group Philippines Foundation, Inc, for their generous donation to upgrade the equipment and facilities of the Computer and Biology Laboratories. This partnership was made possible through the efforts of UP High-Preparatory School Batch 1974.

Present in the turnover ceremonies on September 25, 2026 are Ms Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng of GBF, Atty Karlo Estavillo of Shang Properties, Inc, UP Diliman Chancellor Carlo Vistan, College of Education Dean Joel Javiniar, UPHPEIS Alumni Foundation Inc President Dr Andro Fernandez, UPHPS 1974 representatives led by Atty Jess Cualing and Mr Gerry Verzosa, and UPIS administrators and faculty from the Science and Math Departments.

ANNOUNCEMENT

In reference to the Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 136, s. 2026 which suspends work starting 1:00 PM, UPIS Grades 7-12 classes will follow the SHORTENED PERIOD schedule, through REMOTE (synchronous or asynchronous) mode, on Monday, September 28, 2026.

This will allow everyone to take part in the “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day, in observance of the 34th National Family Week.
