Chancellor Tan has announced that there will be no collection of tuition until government is clear about their plan. However, an official memo is yet to be released. Deadlines for SFA tomorrow will stay the same until further instructions about Free Tuition.

KUMUSTA KA SA DILIMAN?

“I had chosen UP with the intent of being challenged. I was prepared to have my perspective broadened and my endurance tested. Since entering its doors, UP has constantly been molding me to befit its great pillars of honor and excellence. Upholding these values is no small feat, more so is living up to the title of Iskolar ng Bayan.

Times come when the world of UP can be so overwhelming that one would just rather go back to the times when everything was much simpler. In these moments, the Bosconian values I had developed over the years in Caritas Don Bosco School could not be of more use. Samahang Busko reminds me to keep my Bosconian values in check through all the days of my journey in UP. The organization bears the essence of leading and serving the people by charitable acts while offering a warm welcome for camaraderie - a key trademark that rings home for Bosconians.

KUMUSTA KA SA DILIMAN?

"Having the chance to study in UP has always been one of the greatest gifts I received. Being one of the select few who are considered to be Iskolars is indeed both a present and a responsibility. Coming from a Salesian institution in high school, I was faced with the challenge of upholding Bosconian values while at the same time being shaped to become a true Iskolar ng Bayan.

With this struggle, Samahang Busko has always been there to not only remind me of my Salesian values, but to practice and exemplify them as well, even beyond the corners of Don Bosco Mandaluyong. Servant-leadership, justice with charity, and prosperity with honor are one of the many things I am reminded of during my stay in UP.
Choosing Public Administration has also given me the right avenue to take the road I think I can grow most on.

Being a servant-leader in the Church of the poor will now be more at reach, and I thank my Salesian educators for that. Level Masses and Gym Masses back in high school are surely missed but outreaches and retreats with my fellow Bosconian students in UP surely makes reminiscing vividly colorful.
