Last September 12, members of the DGS Red Cross Youth Council, Gracean SHS students, and Gracean admins took part in a Tree Growing Activity organized by the Philippine Red Cross (Quezon City Chapter) at the La Mesa Reservoir.

Together with fellow students and other schools, we joined this meaningful initiative to help reduce our carbon footprint, promote environmental responsibility, and contribute to the preservation of our natural resources.

Suspension of Classes – September 11, 2026

Dear Parents/Guardians and Learners,

Good day!

Please be informed that classes today, September 11, 2026, are suspended in accordance with DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024 and Memorandum Circular No. 3, s. 2025 issued by the local government. This is due to the YELLOW rainfall warning announced by PAG-ASA and the anticipated flood in Metro Manila.

In view of this, please take note of the following:
1. Work Immersion – Grade 12
The scheduled Work Immersion activities for Grade 12 are CANCELLED. Please wait for further announcements regarding the new schedule.

2. Online Saturday Classes
Please be advised that Online Saturday Classes may be conducted after the end-of-term block to make up for the missed classes due to the suspensions. Further details regarding the schedule and arrangements will be announced by the school.

3. Juice Patikim / Open Market / Pistang Pinoy / Pagsusuot ng Kasuotang Pilipino
The scheduled Juice Patikim, Open Market, Pistang Pinoy, and Pagsusuot ng Kasuotang Pilipino activities for PS/LGS PM classes will push through once face-to-face classes resume. Please wait for further instructions from the school/teachers regarding the final schedule.

4. Online Learning and Safety
Parents and guardians are kindly requested to closely monitor their children's online activities. Remind our children to use their gadgets and the internet responsibly, access only legitimate learning platforms and links, and avoid sharing personal information, passwords, or other sensitive details online.

5. Safety During Inclement Weather
Above all, the safety and well-being of our learners and their families remain our priority. Please avoid unnecessary travel, especially in areas experiencing flooding, strong winds, or other hazardous conditions. Stay indoors when necessary, monitor official weather and local government advisories, and keep emergency supplies and communication lines ready.

Suspension of Classes – September 10, 2026

Good day!

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 135, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the President, face-to-face classes today, September 10, 2026 (Thursday), are SUSPENDED due to the expected continued heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Please take note of the following:

1. Grade 12 Work Immersion
The scheduled Work Immersion is SUSPENDED today. Further details on the new schedule will be announced.

2. Saturday Make-Up Classes
Online Saturday Make-Up Classes may be conducted after the End-of-Block period to make up for missed classes. Dates and schedules will be announced separately.

3. School Activities
The Juice Patikim, Open Market, Pistang Pinoy, and Pagsusuot ng Kasuotang Pilipino for PS/LGS PM classes will be conducted once face-to-face classes resume. Further instructions will be given by the school/teachers.

4. Online Safety
