Noong nakaraang Huwebes, sumakabilang buhay ang mahal nating si Ate Carmen Alveniz.

Naging mahalagang bahagi ng buhay ng bawat Yakalista si Ate Carmen, at 'di matatawaran ang kanyang serbisyo hindi lamang sa Yakal kundi sa buong UP Community sa loob ng mahigit dalawang dekada.

Mula sa lahat ng naging residente ng Yakal Residence Hall, ipinaabot namin ang pakikiramay sa kanyang mga naulila.

Kumakatok rin po kami sa puso ng bawat Yakalista at pati na rin po sa buong UP Community para sa tulong pinansyal upang matugunan ang mga bayaring naiwan dahil sa kanyang pagkakasakit at pagpanaw.

The Yakal House Council, with its vision of creating linkages with the former residents of Yakal Residence Hall and the eventual formation of the Yakal Alumni Association releases the Yakal Alumni Database.
