Sa araw na ito Disyembre 30, hindi lamang natin inaalala ang pagpanaw ng isang dakilang tao sa Bagumbayan, kundi ang pagsilang ng isang diwang hindi kailanman mamamatay. Si G*t Jose Rizal ay nagsilbing mitsa sa dilim ng kolonyalismo. Gamit ang kanyang panulat bilang sandata, ipinakita niya na ang tunay na kalayaan ay nagsisimula sa pagmulat ng kaisipan. Nawa’y hindi lang tayo tumingala sa kanyang monumento, kundi baunin din natin ang kanyang prinsipyo sa bawat desisyong ginagawa natin para sa ating bansa.
