𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐂𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬!

A new chapter begins as the 𝗖𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 welcomed CHE graduate students through 𝐂𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 with the theme “𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑯𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒛𝒐𝒏𝒔: 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝑩𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒔” on September 7, 2026, held via Zoom.

The program began with a welcome message from College of Home Economics Dean 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗥. 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴. This was followed by an Academic Orientation led by Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and OGS Coordinator 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗧. 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗮, who discussed important information and guidelines to help students navigate their graduate studies journey. The 𝗖𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 also shared welcome messages and important information about their respective graduate programs.

The event concluded with closing remarks from 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗮 and a virtual photo with our CHE graduate community. 📸

𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗣. 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, an MHE student at the UPD College of Home Economics, and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗥. 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴, Dean of the College of Home Economics and professor at the Department of Home Economics Education, received the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 at the 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐔 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Their research presentation, "𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔: 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑭𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑶𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑪𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔," shows the valuable research being done by the UPD College of Home Economics community.
