Pangkat Adaan presents their adaptation of God Sees the Truth, But Waits by Leo Tolstoy.

Told as an ensemble monologue, the students carry the story together—moving between narration and character, voice and silence. The form allows the inner life of the story to come forward, not just what happens, but what is felt, waited for, and slowly understood.

At its heart, the play follows Ivan Aksionov, whose life is shaped by injustice and time. It is a quiet story, but one that opens questions around truth, forgiveness, and what it means to endure.

We invite our Waldorf community, as well as friends and families, to join us for this sharing. It is a simple offering from the class, shaped through weeks of work, reflection, and collaboration.

Advisory: Best appreciated by audiences 13 years and older due to its themes of injustice, suffering, and moral reflection.

Pangkat Bani’s adaptation of J.B. Priestley's An Inspector Calls reflects on how easily we become absorbed in our own lives, often unaware of how our actions affect those at the margins of society. Set in the early 1900s, during a time of rapid industrial growth and social change, it follows the wealthy Birling family as they confront the consequences of their choices.

For Pangkat Bani, this story became deeply personal. Moments of casual humor gave way to reflection—reminding us to look beyond ourselves and recognize the lives and dignity of others. This is not only the Birling family’s story, but ours as well.

As our final play before leaving Kolisko Waldorf School, this is both a farewell and a reminder: awareness, responsibility, and empathy can extend beyond the stage, or even beyond our childhood nest.

Advisory: An Inspector Calls is suitable for audiences 13 years and older. It deals with themes best appreciated by more mature viewers.
