Sabay-sabay nating i-level up ang kanilang kakayahan! 🚀
🗓 Kailan: January 31, 2026 🕕 Oras: 6:00 PM

Anchored on this year’s national theme “Mula Kamalayan tungo sa Gawa: Pag-unlad ng Autism-OK Philippines”, SPARKS is turning awareness into action!
We strengthen abilities, nurture independence, and create inclusive opportunities for individuals on the autism spectrum through education, life-skills programs, and family support.
Inclusion isn’t just understanding—it’s giving everyone the tools and environment to thrive. Together with families, educators, therapists, and the community, we’re building an Autism-OK Philippines where everyone is valued, supported, and empowered.
A gentle reminder: Remember AUTISM—our guide to a more inclusive society:
A – Acceptance | U – Understanding | T – Togetherness | I – Independence | S – Support | M – Meaningful Participation
Let’s move beyond awareness—toward empowerment, inclusion, and lasting change!

With the frequent earthquakes happening in our country, preparedness is essential and that includes helping our students become comfortable with safety routines.
One of the challenges we face is their sensory sensitivity, especially when it comes to wearing hats and staying under the table during safety routines.
As the first step toward desensitization, I encouraged my students to wear their hats while working on a simple craft activity under the table. Some students initially felt uneasy. A few removed their hats, while others preferred to move out and “sit on the chair” instead.
With gentle prompts, patience, and encouragement, they eventually managed to stay under the table and keep their hats on until the end of the session.
It may seem like a small step, but each attempt helps build their confidence and readiness. Every moment of progress brings us closer to ensuring that our students are safe.
One hat, and one calm response, at a time.

SPARKS at “Beyond the Label: Uniting Educators and Professionals for Inclusivity and Autism”
Last October 10, 2025, the SPARKS Team proudly joined the seminar “Beyond the Label: Uniting Educators and Professionals for Inclusivity and Autism,” held at St. Agatha Hotel and Events Place, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
Our teachers and therapists participated both face-to-face and online, gaining valuable insights from developmental pediatricians, psychologists, therapists, and educators on promoting inclusivity and supporting children with autism and other developmental needs.
The seminar provided expert discussions on early diagnosis, multidisciplinary teamwork, behavior interventions, and inclusive education — empowering us with practical strategies we can bring back to our classrooms and therapy sessions.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Beyond the Label Team and ESL Philippines for organizing this inspiring and impactful learning experience.
SPARKS remains committed to continuous professional growth and to championing inclusion for all learners. 🩷
