In celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month, Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School warmly welcomes representatives from the Quezon City Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department (CCESD) and Greenpeace Philippines. The said activity was attended by 100 Grade 6 learners; it aims to educate our learners about a plastic-free lifestyle.

Ngayong araw, Nobyembre 27, 2025 ipinagdiriwang ang Araw ng Pagbasa at buong puso na nakiisa ang Diosdado Macapagal Elementary School sa pagdiriwang nito. Sama-sama ang mga g**o at mag-aaral sa pagpapahalaga sa kasiyahan at kahalagahan ng pagbabasa, at sa pagtuklas ng mga kwento na nagpapalawak ng imahinasyon at kaalaman.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga aktibidad tulad ng storytelling, interactive reading sessions, at book appreciation, itinampok ng paaralan ang kahalagahan ng pagmamahal sa libro mula sa murang edad.

Sa pakikilahok sa pambansang selebrasyon na ito, muling pinagtibay ng Diosdado Macapagal Elementary School ang pangako nito sa paghubog ng mga mag-aaral na may pagmamahal sa literasiya, kuryosidad, at pagbasa.

✨ A Heartfelt Donation for Our Grade 6 Learners! ✨

On October 10, 2025, Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School gladly received 550 graduation togas generously donated by Hon. Raquel S. Malañgen, Councilor of District 4. This meaningful contribution ensures that all our Grade 6 learners can proudly and confidently celebrate their upcoming milestone. 🎓💙
The turnover ceremony was attended by Ma’am Wilma C. Obras, School Principal, together with other school officials. Also present were the supportive SPTA Officers led by SPTA President Lissa Vallejo, and Mrs Janet Estabillo-Grade 6-PTA representative.
Selected Grade 6 learners witnessed the event, symbolizing hope, unity, and the bright future ahead for our students. 🌟

Last November 12, 2025, 200 Grade 6 learners of Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School actively participated in a Road Safety Awareness Seminar proudly hosted and organized by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP). This important activity aimed to educate our learners on responsible road behavior, safety precautions, and the value of being alert and disciplined pedestrians. 🚸🛣️

The program opened with an inspiring message from Sir Dante L. Libanan, Head Teacher III, who emphasized the importance of equipping learners with knowledge that could save lives.

Also present to support the activity were our dedicated Grade 6 teachers:

Bilang tugon sa anunsyo ng DepEd National Capital Region tungkol sa tumataas na kaso ng Influenza like Illness, ay nagsagawa ang pamunuan ng Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary at School Parent Teachers Association ng Clean-up Drive at Search and Destroy Operation noong linggo, ika- 12 ng Oktubre 2025 sa ganap na 8:00 ng umaga.
