We’re always happy to work with Veronica of the UP Vargas Museum! Join her and many others discuss how to make our cities more human at the last Artkitektura Exhitbit Encounters.

See you on March 24, Saturday from 3:00 pm – 5:00pm with a guided tour of the Living Architecture Exhibition at 2:30pm.

Speakers include contemporary artist Indy Paredes, and SURP (School of Urban and Regional Planning) professors José Edgardo Gomez Jr., Mark Anthony Morales and Faith Varona. There will be a forum moderated by Prof. Tessa Guazon (College of Arts and Letters, Department of Art Studies, UP Diliman).

The Living Architecture Exhibition is on view until 7 April 2018.

This exhibition introduced us to the concept of "living architecture" - Young Star Not a lot of people realize that good design means taking care of the environment.

"We need more spaces where people could really collaborate and be in harmony, whether it’s for an hour or a day. Those meeting places are disappearing, especially where people are, like in cities."

Last March 10, the Artkitektura Exhibit Encounters at the UP Vargas Museum had an experiential workshop in clay following Rudolf Steiner’s indications on Dynamic Forms in Architecture.

In the workshop participants used clay to experience Steiner’s lecture on the architecture movements. Participants were tasked to create various clay forms, starting with a sphere and ending with an individual expression of the dynamic balance of the inner and outer movement.

Living Architecture Exhibition at the 1F Galleries of Vargas Museum will have an extended run until 7 April 2018.
