With grateful hearts, we rejoice in the successful staging of our Nutrition Month, held on July 31, 2026 in our school.

Our learners enjoyed hands-on food preparation activities while developing basic skills, healthy eating habits, teamwork, and independence.

Thank you to our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and enthusiastic learners for making this occasion truly meaningful and memorable.

Our young learners had the wonderful opportunity to listen to a Nutritionist who shared insightful and meaningful lessons on embracing healthy eating habits and making wise lifestyle choices that promote lifelong wellness.
But the learning didn’t stop there! The students put their knowledge into action through a fun and exciting Healthy Food Preparation Competition, where they showcased their creativity, teamwork, and understanding of nutritious food choices.

To cap off the celebration, everyone gathered together for a joyful food-sharing time, enjoying the healthy creations they prepared while celebrating friendship, cooperation, and the joy of eating well.

Rev. Dr. Christopher Chua led a meaningful chapel time with our learners as they explored the inspiring story of Elisha and the Three Kings, discovering timeless lessons about faith, trust, obedience, and God's unfailing provision.
Our ministry goes beyond educating young minds - we are committed to nurturing hearts for Christ. While we faithfully disciple our students, we are equally passionate about the spiritual growth of our teachers and staff. We believe that those who teach and lead others must also be continually strengthened and nourished by God's Word.
We are also equally grateful to Ma'am Cherry Chan for faithfully leading our recent Teachers' and Staff Fellowship. Through her sharing of God's Word, our faculty and staff were reminded of the importance of remaining rooted in Christ as we serve in the ministry of Christian education.
As we grow together in Christ, we become better equipped to reflect His wisdom, shine His light, serve with excellence, and demonstrate His love in all that we do.

On behalf of our entire school community, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Dr. Christopher Chua and the HOME Church (House of Messiah Episcopal Church) ministry for their generous donation of 150 English Standard Version (ESV) Bibles.

Your thoughtful gift is a tremendous blessing to our students, teachers, and the entire WLCA family. These Bibles will be a valuable resource as our teachers lead weekly church services, personal devotions, and Christian Living Education classes. They will also serve as an invaluable guide for our students as they grow in the knowledge of God's Word, develop a deeper understanding of biblical truths, and cultivate a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Your generosity is more than the giving of books - it is the sowing of God's Word into the hearts of many young lives. We believe that the seeds of faith planted through this wonderful gift will bear lasting fruit for years to come.

Learning comes to life through creativity! Our students transformed simple materials such as beads, pompoms, and Styrofoam balls into engaging visual models that illustrate the particle arrangement of the three states of matter-solid, liquid, and gas.
By building these hands-on representations, they discovered how particles are closely packed in solids, move more freely in liquids, and spread far apart in gases. This interactive activity strengthened their understanding of scientific concepts while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.

Our young scientists explored the fascinating world of thermal insulation and heat transfer by engineering creative ways to either preserve the coldness of ice or speed up its melting using common materials such as aluminum foil, cotton, wire, paper, fabric, and other everyday items.

Through observation, experimentation, and teamwork, students discovered how different materials affect the movement of heat, strengthening their critical thinking, problem-solving, and engineering design skills. Every experiment reminded us that great discoveries often begin with simple questions and everyday materials!
