Empowering the next generation of faith leaders. 🙏✨

We are proud to share that our very own seminarians, Jomar Payocyoc and Kate Lingayo, are currently representing us at the Asian Ecumenical Youth Assembly (AEYA) in Chiang Mai, Thailand! 🇹🇭

Organized by the Christian Conference of Asia, this year’s theme, "Break Every Yoke," calls on young leaders to engage with the challenges facing our world today. Please join us in praying for Jomar and Kate as they journey, learn, and grow in fellowship with brothers and sisters from across Asia.

A little bit of wilderness, a whole lot of grace. 🌌🥓

Taking a detour from our usual routine for some SATS grounds camping. Between the BBQ smoke and the pajama party laughs, we’re reminded that the journey to the altar is paved with the friends we make along the way.

🏆 One Faith, One Goal, One Field! 🏆

Yesterday, the grounds were filled with more than just cheers and competition—they were filled with the spirit of Ecumenical Fellowship. 🕊️

We give thanks for a powerful day of sportsmanship and solidarity during the Ecumenical Fellowship Games between:

Saint Andrew’s Theological Seminary (SATS)

Aglipay Central Theological Seminary (ACTS)

Union Theological Seminary (UTS)

Beyond the scores, we celebrated the unity we share in Christ. Whether on the court or the field, the laughter and camaraderie reminded us that while our institutions may be distinct, our mission is one.

To the athletes who gave their all, the organizers who made it possible, and the community that cheered until their voices gave out—thank you! > "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" — Psalm 133:1

Check out some of the highlights from yesterday’s action! 📸👇

Sweeping Up the Blessings! 🧹⛪

Our daily chores just got a whole lot easier! A big shout-out to our thoughtful alumnus, Rev. Jasem Egsan, for donating a fresh set of soft brooms to the seminary.

It’s wonderful to see our graduates "sweeping" in with support long after they’ve left these halls. We truly appreciate the practical gift and the spirit of service behind it.

🤝 Expanding Our Horizons: A New Partnership for Excellence! 🌍

A significant milestone was reached today, March 5, 2026, as St. Andrew’s Theological Seminary (SATS) and Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) officially entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)!

The signing ceremony took place at the Thailand Baptist Theological Seminary in Bangkok, Thailand. This MOA, signed by our very own Very Rev. Dr. Gloria Lita Mapangdol and the Faculty of Theology Dean of SWCU, Rev. Izak Lattu, Ph.D., paves the way for deeper collaboration.

We look forward to the fruits of this partnership as we continue to strengthen theological education in the region. To God be the glory! 🙌⛪️
