Strengthen and Cleanse the Lungs (Lung Cleansing Technique)
People with damaged lungs may have more difficult conditions than people with clean lungs. Conditions, such as COPD, asthma, and cystic fibrosis, cause excessive production of mucus or thick phlegm that can clog the lungs.
Toxins from cigarette smoke or air pollution that entered the lungs can affect the whole body. A person may feel weight in the chest, and stuffy feelings.
Ways to cleanse the lungs:
1. Steam therapy - Inhaling water v***r is to open the airways and help the lungs to flush out the phlegm. Climate can dry out mucous membranes in the airways. In contrast, steam adds heat and moisture to the air, which can improve breathing and help release phlegm.
2. Controlled cough - A controlled cough may help to remove phlegm. Do this: Sit in a chair and relax your shoulders, spread your feet on the floor, fold your arms to your stomach. Inhale slowly through the nose and push the arms into the stomach while coughing 2 or 3 times. Rest and repeat as needed.
3. Do postural drainage - Postural drainage is lying in different positions to use gravity to remove phlegm. Do this: (1) Lie down. Place a pillow under the hip to ensure the chest is lower than the hip. Inhale slowly through the nose and exhale through the mouth. Every exhale should be longer than the inhale. Go on for a few minutes. (2) Lie down on the left side. Repeat breathing for a few minutes. (3) Lie on the right side and repeat. (4) Lie down on the floor and continue for a few minutes.
4. Chest clapping - Chest clapping is an effective way to remove excess phlegm from the lungs. Use your hand to tap the chest to remove the attached phlegm from the lungs. A combined chest drumming and postural drainage can help clear the passages of excessive phlegm.
5. Exercise - Regular exercise can improve people's physical and mental health, reducing the risk of many health conditions, including stroke and heart disease. Exercise strengthens the muscles or muscles of breathing. Respiratory rate is also increased, resulting in a greater supply of oxygen to the body. It also improves circulation, and makes the body better at removing excess carbon dioxide.

REDUCE SUGAR AND AVOID SWEET THINGS
I HAVE patients wonder why they never lose weight. When I ask them, they say it's only a mango that they can eat at every meal. That's why!
Mango is sweet and high in sugar. Yes sugar does help our body Giving us energy. But if overweight we can get diabetes. Do you know the amount of sugar in common foods? Let's see.
1. Raisins 42.5 g ng Sunmaid Raisins (Β½ cup) = 7 Β½ kutsaritang asukal (120 cal)
Strawberries are lower in sugar compared to grapes, mangoes and dried fruits.
2. 8 baby carrots or half cup (85 g) = 1 teaspoon sugar (30 cal)
3. 1 large orange = 5 1/2 tsp sugar (132 cal)
The sweeter and more ripe, the more sugar. Select the fruits that are just ripe. Do not pick the overripe fruits.
4. Three-fourth cup plain cereals = 1 kutsaritang asukal (120 cal)
But a three-fourth cup of frosted cereals = 3 teaspoons of sugar (120 cal)
5. 1 regular corn = 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
6. 1 ensaymada with butter = 8 teaspoons sugar and 5 tablespoons butter
If you want to lose weight, just choose pandesal or monay.
7. 1 scoop of regular ice cream = 5 1/2 teaspoons sugar (240 cal)
But 1 cup unsweetened 6 oz yogurt = 3 1/2 teaspoons sugar (100 cal)
Yogurt is healthier than ice cream.
8. 1 coffee drink with whip cream (16 oz grande) = 12 kutsaritang asukal (380 cal)
And when it comes to drinks with whip cream, ice cream and chocolate, that's pretty much high in sugar. But, it's okay if you're thin and want to gain weight. But if you're diabetic and want to lose weight, opt for low sugar foods.
The sugar of fruit, called fructose, is healthier, compared to white sugar. So be careful of hidden sugars in our food. Good luck!

Allergy, Cough and Sneezing
Allergy is our body and immune system's reaction to harmful substances, such as pollen, dust, mold and animal fur.
Here are the tips depending on your allergy:
1. Plant pollen β Wear a face mask when outdoors. Close windows and doors to keep pollen from entering the house. Don't leave clothes hanging outside. Pollen can stick to clothing, Also take a shower and change clothes if you are from outside or travel. Rinse with saline solution with βnasal sprayβ to expose the cold and remove the irritation of your nose.
2. Dust and Mold - Limit exposure or exposure to dust. Avoid the buildings that are being built. When cleaning the house do it once a week. Wear a mask when cleaning or just have someone do it. Wrap blankets and pillows to prevent dust. It's best to replace some tools with leather as they don't hold dust easily. Use an exhaust fan in the kitchen and bathroom to keep mold out. Clean the humidifiers often. This will help prevent mold and bacteria from building up in your appliances.
3. Fur of Pets - Select Pets. Avoid taking care of furry animals. Don't let dogs or cats in your house especially your room. If fostering a fur baby is unavoidable make sure it is outside the house. Bath the pet every week. Use an eraser to help keep the feathers there.
See your doctor if symptoms don't go away with these steps. A doctor's prescription medication can reduce or prevent your allergy.
