The Ateneo School of Government extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Josef T. Yap, Senior Research Fellow of the Ateneo Policy Center, for his remarkable accomplishment. Dr. Yap has been bestowed with the Outstanding Scholarly Work Award in Sustainability at the 2023 University Scholarly Work Awards.
Dr. Yap's research paper, "Evaluating the Feed-in Tariff Policy in the Philippines," published in the highly acclaimed International Journal of Energy Economics and Policy, showcases his expertise and profound contributions to the field.

NEW RELEASE!
On May 16, 2022, the ASEP-CELLs Project released its Research Compendium titled “Promoting Energy Security in the Philippines.” Conducted under the knowledge management pillar, the 44 research studies in the compendium were intended to support the project’s three goals of increasing rural electrification (or energy access for all), energy efficiency, and the share of renewables in the energy mix.
Edited by Josef T. Yap, Senior Technical Advisor of ASEP-CELLs, the anthology of studies was completed under the auspices of the European Union and the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG). The authors are affiliated with the consortium comprised of ASoG, Manila Observatory, University of San Carlos, and Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan.
