[UP CODE RE GRADE SOLICITATION]

The University Code prohibits any form of grade solicitation. Article 377 of the University Code states:
"No student of the University shall solicit directly or indirectly any grade from his/her professor. Any student violating this rule shall lose credit in the subject(s) regarding which such solicitation is made, without prejudice to the filing of a case for disciplinary action."

The email messages of students requesting for additional incentives, extra work or consideration in exchange for a higher grade can be considered as an evidence to support grade solicitation.

THE TWO SABLAY SYMBOLS! 🌻

The UP Sablay features indigenous-inspired design elements that reflect the identity and heritage of the University of the Philippines.

The “UP” symbol is a stylized representation of the University’s initials, inspired by Baybayin aesthetics. It is not a direct Baybayin spelling, but a designed interpretation that reflects Filipino cultural forms.

The ukkil, a traditional curvilinear folk art motif from Moro and Lumad cultures featuring flowing plant-like designs, represents artistry and cultural heritage. In the Sablay, these patterns symbolize the continuous growth of knowledge, highlighting UP’s commitment to learning, culture, and academic excellence.

Mula sa College Student Electoral Board (CSEB), iniimbitahan ang lahat ng mga mag-aaral ng CSWCD para kilatisin, kilalanin, at makipag-ugnayan sa mga susunod na kinatawan ng mga mag-aaral sa konseho para sa susunod na akademikong taon sa Miting De Avance ng CSWCD.
