Last May 15, 2026, the Junior Tourism and Hospitality Management Association of the Philippines (JTHMAP) East Manila Regional Officers successfully spearheaded the Regional Caravan held at the UP Asian Institute of Tourism with the theme:

“Blueprint for Legacy: Advancing Stewardship Through Transformative Leadership in Tourism and Hospitality”

The event brought together tourism and hospitality students, student leaders, and future industry professionals for an inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and transformative leadership. Attendees from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) programs of NU Fairview actively participated in the meaningful discussions and interactive learning sessions that strengthened leadership competence, sustainability awareness, and industry readiness.

This meaningful initiative reflects the dedication and commitment of the JTHMAP East Manila Regional Officers in creating opportunities that empower student leaders and promote purposeful growth within the tourism and hospitality community.

The second day of the educational tour was filled with meaningful learning experiences and industry exposure. Participants attended immersion programs on 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗟𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, gaining deeper insights into hotel management, guest services, and beverage operations.

As part of the tour, the students also took part in the 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘃𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, where they received 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 in 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦, 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘥 and 𝘉𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴. The experience was further enriched by an exclusive Bellevue Hotel tour and departmental training in Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food and Beverage Services, led by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗰𝗼, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗢𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗼, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼.
