[ FEAST of the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION ]
The Sanggunian joins in celebrating the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. 🌹
We honor the Blessed Mother, who has been preserved from all stain of original sin from the moment of her conception. This beautiful truth highlights her unique role in salvation history as the perfect, untainted vessel prepared by God to bear His Son, born into the world. 🤍
❗ — There are no classes today, as the Feast of the Immaculate Conception is a special non-working holiday. Classes will continue onsite tomorrow on Tuesday, December 9. 📋
May we always strive to imitate the Blessed Virgin's purity and fidelity.
Total pulchra es, Maria! 🩵

[ MARTIAL LAW — SEPTEMBER 21 ]
The Sanggunian joins the nation in remembering the placement of our nation under Martial Law on September 21, 1972. This dark and wounded chapter in our history marked compromised freedoms, human rights violations, and silenced voices under the Marcos dictatorship.
To remember Martial Law is not only to honor the victims and survivors of dictatorship, but also to take action against the injustices of today.
In this spirit, the Sanggunian will stand alongside and support our fellow Filipinos who will participate in the Trillion Peso March—a collective call for truth, accountability, and good governance. Just as we guard against lies and historical distortion, we must also unite against corruption and oppression in all its forms.
May this day remind us that the struggle for democracy is not over, and that hope is built when we choose to act together.

[ FEAST of the BLESSED VIRGIN MARY ]
The Sanggunian joins in celebrating the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 🌹
We celebrate this feast of our Blessed Mother with great joy. On this day, we celebrate the birth of the Queen of Heaven on earth. From her was born the Son of God, who has redeemed us all. May Mary, our Mother, and patroness of Ateneo, keep us true and bring us closer to her son, Jesus Christ. 💙
We pray you keep us Mary, constantly true and faithful to you!
O Blessed Mother, intercede for us! 🙏

[ CANONIZATION of Sts. CARLO ACUTIS and PIER GIORGIO FRASSATI ]
The Sanggunian joins in celebrating the canonization of Saints Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati—two young saints whose lives embody holiness in the ordinary and courage in the everyday.
As we celebrate this historic moment, may their example inspire us to live our faith with authenticity, to find God in all things, and to bring hope to others in both the physical and digital world.
Saints Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati, pray for us! 🙏
