We are proud to announce that Chrystel Jae Santos and Mark Ceasar Rodriguez represented the Society of Public Administration Students (SPAS) at the Benilde Model Congress held on May 18-21, 2026 at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
SPAS was selected to receive the Benilde Model Congress Scholarship Grant, giving our delegates the opportunity to participate in this prestigious legislative simulation event. Both delegates served in the Committee on National Defense and showcased exceptional leadership and legislative skills throughout the congress.
Chrystel Jae Santos served as Deputy Minority Floor Leader, contributing her insights and advocacy during committee deliberations.
Mark Ceasar Rodriguez took on multiple roles as Minority Floor Leader and Deputy Majority Floor Leader, authored HB No. 17, AN ACT
CREATING AN AGRI-FISHERY COMMISSION OF THE PHILIPPINES (AGFICOM) TO CONDUCT A COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL REVIEW, ASSESSMENT, AND EVALUATION OF THE PHILIPPINE AGRICULTURAL AND FISHERIES SECTOR AND FOOD SYSTEMS, AND TO FORMULATE EVIDENCE-BASED, CLIMATE-RESILIENT, AND INCLUSIVE POLICY AND INSTITUTIONAL REFORMS, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES aka Agrifishery Commission of the Philippines (AGFICOM) and earned recognition as Best Debater and Best Bill Presenter.

Ngayong araw ipinagdiriwang natin ang ika-128 taong anibersayo ng araw ng kasarinlan ng ating pinakamamahal na bayan - ang Pilinas.
Bilang Pilipino at iskolar ng bayan, tayo ay tinatawagan upang maging tagapagtaguyod ng ating tinatamasang kalayaan sa pamamagitan ng pagiging daluyan ng katotohanan at patuloy na pagsusulong ng prinsipyong makabayan.
Nawa'y hindi mapagod ang ating mga puso na pahalagahan ang sakripisyo ng ating magigiting na mga bayani na naging daan upang makamit natin ang tinatamasa nating kalayaan.

After two days of intense collaboration, critical thinking, and innovative policy-making on May 14-15, 2026, the Policy Hackathon: Leading Ladies has officially concluded. As one of the biggest events organized by SPAS this school year, this hackathon allowed us to celebrate Women's Month (even if belatedly!) by addressing critical issues on gender equality in governance.
This event would not have been possible without the dedication, support, and participation of everyone involved.

Meet the honorable SPAS victors of PASiklaban 2026: Ikalawang Yugto with the theme “Soaring Minds, Shaping Tomorrow” that transpired last May 6, 2026.
Securing Second Place in the PASiklaban 2026, Hon. Jannamiel Jemina, Hon. Angel Kate DelaCruz, and Hon. Audrey Shane Nate exhibited their collective prowess by showing how their minds can shape tomorrows in a competitive scene alongside PLM, UDM, TCU, EARIST, and MCST.

Emmi De Jesus for sharing an inspirational and eye-opening discussion about women's rights and visibility, participants and teams as they sharpen their minds on recent policy challenges by presenting evidence-based solutions.
