SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES AND WORK IN SCHOOLS AT ALL LEVELS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE)
Based on PAGASA Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 6 issued at 8:00 AM today, the Orange Rainfall Warning Level has been raised over the Province of Camarines Sur due to the effects of the Shearline. Flooding is threatening in low-lying areas and near river channels, while landslides are threatening in landslide prone areas.
In view of this, face-to-face classes and work in schools at all levels (public and private are suspended today, January 30, 2025, until lifted. To ensure that learning competencies are achieved, schools shall implement modular distance learning, performance tasks, projects, or make-up classes in accordance with their Learning and Service Continuity Plan.
Further, parents and guardians are strongly advised to promptly pick up their children from school. In the event that travel is deemed unsafe, schools shall ensure that learners remain safely inside classrooms until conditions improve.
