We’re blessed to share a heartfelt testimonial from Mackenzie Dawn Aldridge, incoming Grade 10 student of LECA, as she reflects on how the school’s Christ-centered community has helped shape her growth, character, leadership, and faith. 💙

Here’s her story:

“LECA is a school that not only focuses on academic growth but also helps shape character, build meaningful friendships, and deepen one’s relationship with God. One thing I truly appreciated during my years at LECA was that I was never placed under unhealthy academic pressure. Instead, the school created an environment where learning felt encouraging and balanced.

What I enjoyed most about LECA is its community. Everyone is approachable and friendly, making it easy to build a harmonious, supportive, and well guided relationship with our teachers. The students are amicable, and the teachers are understanding and patient. Instead of simply correcting students harshly, they take the time to listen and understand, creating a safe and supportive space for everyone.

Being part of this kind of environment shaped me in many ways. Having served as class president for several years and as vice president of the Student Council, I learned to lead with empathy and understanding. Rather than pressuring others to quickly finish tasks, I learned to listen and support them - just as my teachers and peers had done for me.

LECA has played a significant role in shaping who I am today. It helped form my character and gave me the confidence to voice my thoughts and speak up for what is right. None of this would have been possible without the people around me—my teachers, friends, and the Christ-centered community that make LECA truly special.”
