Happy 19th Presbyteral Ordination Rev. Fr. Gideon Lagrimas, OAR; the Provincial Vocation Director

Last Saturday, November 29, 2025, the formands of the Order of Augustinian Recollects (OAR) and the Augustinian Recollect Sisters (AR) came together in a joyful and grace-filled gathering for the annual AR–OAR Formands’ Encounter held at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Novitiate House, Tagaytay City.

The day began with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, grounding the encounter in prayer and communion.
This was followed by a meaningful talk by Sr. Rhiza Eltanal, AR, who reflected on the theme:
“Cor unum in Hope: The Augustinian Recollect Community as Pilgrim Church.” Her message inspired the formands to journey together in unity and hope as one Recollect family.

In the afternoon, the participants enjoyed lively energizers, fraternity-building activities, and a heartwarming exchange gift that strengthened bonds of friendship and community.

Truly, it was a day marked by shared faith, joy, and Recollect brotherhood and sisterhood.
