St. Vincent Ferrer Parish is a Dominican Mission Station in Camiguin Norte Island, Municipality of Calayan, Province of Cagayan which is part of the Babuyan Group of Islands in extreme Northern Luzon.

Despite of their poverty, most of the children there go to school in order to pursue their education and to fulfill their dreams and ambitions. They are the beneficiaries of OP Project Aral. This coming May 2023, we will visit the island and bring the tools for education that these children need.

Babuyan Group of Islands, the islands in the northern tip of mainland Luzon, are so remote that school children lack even the most basic of schooling needs. Sometimes they have to share pencils by breaking them into pieces so that the learners may have a piece of pencil to use.

OP Project Aral supports the education of school children in these remote and isolated islands. We shall visit them this coming May 2023 to bring them the tools they need in order to pursue their education. Send us a message to find out how you can help.

In the parish of St. Vincent Ferrer on the island of Camiguin Norte, Calayan, Cagayan, there are 4 public elementary schools and 1 public high school.

The Dominican Mission Station there administer Lyceum of Camiguin, a Junior and Senior High School offering free Catholic education.

Because the island is remote and isolated, students lack the tools for an ideal environment for learning. These school children are the beneficiaries of OP Project Aral.

Most of the school children of Camiguin Norte in the remote municipality of Calayan, Cagayan (some 60 nautical miles from Aparri, Cagayan) walk for hours everyday to be able to go to school. Because of this, their slippers easily get worn out. In spite of this challenge, they go to school everyday to be able to fulfill their dreams for a bright future.

Camiguin Norte is an island barangay under St. Vincent Ferrer Parish, a Dominican Mission Station. This mission station is one of the beneficiaries of OP Project Aral.
