Nursing constructivist approach is centered on continuing professional development, which is essential for maintaining nurses' abilities, expertise, and understanding. Whereas the necessity of nurses' continued professional growth is well acknowledged, little is recognized about how nurses actually experience and see such development.

Five steps to creating a career development plan.

Planning for the future, establishing a direction for career growth, and accepting responsibility for a career path may appear daunting. Nevertheless, it does not have to be that hard with the assistance of a career development plan. A career development plan outlines a career ambition, goals, and targets, along with strategies and actions one will take to reach these goals. Developing a career development plan is critical in determining which job opportunities and paths to take to get to one's desired destination. Which is why making a plan is essential.

Just like providing care, learning, and improving oneself don't just end at one point. It's nonstop, continuous, and is bound not to cease at any time—because, as we all know, the only constant thing in the world is change. That change simultaneously affects the demands for healthcare setup. Therefore, to ride onto these continuous changes, nurses should improve and adapt to utilizing, learning something new, honing their own previously acquired skills, and filling in themselves with the trends and latest information to cater to the needs of the patients whose health and safety lie within their palms—the responsibilities nurses carry with them every single day.
