IT’S ARTSTHETIC, LAGRONIANS! 🎭

On September 17, 2026 (Thursday), the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) took the stage and ignited the spirit of every audience member through a performance that went beyond entertainment.

The stage became more than a place for stories. It became a space for voices to be heard, ideas to be awakened, and courage to be nurtured.

Through the power of theater, PETA reminded us that art does not merely make us feel—it can make us think, question, understand, and act. Every movement carried meaning. Every voice carried a message. Every scene opened a door to greater awareness of the realities surrounding us.

Because when words are silenced, art can speak.
When voices are ignored, art can echo.
And when people are afraid to stand, art can give them the courage to rise.

This is the power of the artist: not only to create, but to connect, challenge, and inspire change.

So let the pens write.
Let the voices rise.

Yesterday, 21st of September, stands as a profound marker in our history—a day that pushed in a dark chapter under martial law.

Remembering this date is not merely an act of looking back, but rather a vital reminder of the freedoms that were challenged and the resilience of those who stood up for democratic rights.

Remembering the past to safeguard our future. Never forget history's lessons.

Never again, never forget! 💛

As we continue with our lives, let us be leaders who remember, care, and pursue justice for our land.

The Martial Law may have bent our knees once yet it also revealed our power to once again stand up for what is right.

Let us keep in mind that a democratic country governed by the people and always for the people will always be stronger than anything or anyone. The power lies with the masses and with that, we shall also embrace that fighting for our rights must not be done through the same kind violence we've experienced.

Martial Law should never have happened. We must not let it happen again.

‎Pinagtibay ng 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙀𝙙) ang karapatan ng bawat estudyante sa pamamagitan ng 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙀𝙙 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙤. 𝟎𝟎𝟔, 𝙨. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, kung saan walang lugar ang anumang uri ng bullying sa loob ng paaralan.
‎
‎Naniniwala ang DepEd na ang pagpapanatili ng kaayusan sa loob ng paaralan ay mas mainam kaysa hayaang mabuo ang mga gawaing nagdudulot ng takot, kaguluhan, at pagkagambala sa mga mag-aaral.
‎
‎At kung sakaling magkaroon ng ganitong pangyayari sa loob ng paaralan, mayroong prosesong inilatag ang DepEd upang ito ay maaksyunan sa tama at dekalidad na paraan:
‎
1. ‎𝙄𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 ang insidente sa pamamagitan ng Child Protection Committee.
2. ‎𝙋𝙤𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙠𝙩𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙞𝙠𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖 sa pamamagitan ng pagtitiyak sa kaniyang kaligtasan at pagbibigay ng nararapat na suporta.
3. ‎𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 alinsunod sa bigat ng ginawang paglabag.
4. ‎𝙄𝙧𝙚-𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙠𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣, sa DSWD, PNU, LGU, o iba pang kinauukulang awtoridad.
‎
‎Ang paaralan ay hindi 𝙗𝙤𝙭𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 upang paglagyan ng di-angkop na gawain laban sa ating sarili at kapwa mag-aaral. Ito ang lugar kung saan higit nating dapat 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙤 upang maging mas mahusay—hindi lamang bilang mag-aaral, kundi bilang tao.

‎📢 | 𝙉𝙊 𝙁𝘼𝘾𝙀-𝙏𝙊-𝙁𝘼𝘾𝙀 𝘾𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙀𝙎 𝙏𝙊𝘿𝘼𝙔!

Face-to-face classes across all levels in public and private schools in Quezon City are suspended today, Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Private schools and higher education institutions may follow their respective community-agreed suspension protocols.

The suspension follows a Yellow Rainfall Warning issued by PAGASA due to Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) rains and flood risks, per DepEd Order No. 022 s. 2024 and LGU Memorandum Circular No. 3 s. 2025.

In order to guarantee the continuity of education, schools must put into place suitable ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY MODES (ADM) as a substitute for face-to-face classes. This arrangement will stay in force unless the QUEZON CITY LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE decides to cancel or suspend classes.

It is strongly advised that everyone remain in safe areas, take the necessary precautions, and keep on monitoring weather warnings and announcements from reliable sources.

September marks the beginning of the BER months, but did you know it holds a deeper meaning?

The month of September is designated as Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, centered around World Su***de Prevention Day observed globally every September 10. It is a time to break the silence, foster understanding, and remind everyone that help is always within reach.

𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂 𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒏 𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕. It is a treasure, a key, and a token that allows us to do what we love — to choose purpose over pain, and hope over harm.

This month, we, the SSLG of Lagro High School, remind you: Cherish your life not only because you have dreams for the future, but because your life itself is already special and worthy.
