Alleluia! Alleluia! Christ has risen! 🕊️✨🙏 Today we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. From the cross He redeemed us, from the depths He saved us, and now He stands on the earth, triumphant from death. Let us celebrate Easter by following His commandment of loving one another. Happy Easter Sunday!

His body was laid to rest, His tomb was sealed, and the world fell silent. 🕯️ Jesus has been buried. Today, we commemorate Jesus’ burial and his descent into the underground for three days to save the souls imprisoned in Hades. As we await our Blessed Lord’s return to the land with the hope of the resurrection, take the time today to reflect further on Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice for our sins, as the light at the end that is Easter is fast approaching.

Today, on Good Friday, we commemorate the Crucifixion and the Death of our Savior Jesus Christ. ✟ His death, along with His final words, “It is finished," declares that Jesus’ mission on Earth has been accomplished. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is the ultimate proof of God’s love for us—as He willingly allowed Himself to be betrayed by Judas and to be crucified by the Romans to redeem our sins. Let us take the time today to contemplate and reflect on our sins as our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to redeem the world.

Maundy Thursday celebrates the Last Supper. 🍞 We commemorate the final meal Jesus and His disciples had before being betrayed and crucified. Jesus’ final commandment orders us to love each other—as Jesus loved us all unconditionally, we must do the same for others. Let us all love everyone, our family, friends, and enemies, without reservations, in order to follow the path Christ has shown us.

𝐓𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐒 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 | Vpeeps Wins 1st Place at World of Dance Philippines

The dance team Vpeeps was named 1st Place Champion in the Junior Division at World of Dance Philippines, held at the Newport Theater on March 29, 2026.

Among the members of the winning team are Mater Carmeli School students Jefrie Keith Benin, Ethia Zairylle Combate, and Kiara Prila. Though they belong to a specific group, they carried the energy and spirit of their school with them, proving that their talent shines both in the classroom and on stage. Performing alongside their Vpeeps teammates, they delivered a routine that left both the judges and audience impressed.

Their victory is a proud moment for the Mater Carmeli community, proving that Carmelians shine not just in class but on stage too.

The school community extends its congratulations to Jefrie Keith Benin, Ethia Zairylle Combate, Kiara Prila, and the entire Vpeeps team for this remarkable achievement. Their success continues to inspire fellow Carmelians to pursue their passions and talents beyond the classroom.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. 🌿 Today, we remember Jesus’ humble entry into Jerusalem—greeted by "Hosannas" that would soon turn to cries for His crucifixion.

His journey reminds us that true strength lies in love, sacrifice, and submission to God's will. Let’s walk this week with reverence and faith, keeping our eyes on the promise of the Resurrection.
