CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS (Open to all UP Students): User-Centered Design of a Mental Health Chatbot

Hello,

Our team is doing a research about mental health interventions, and we need your help!

Our goal is to apply the user-centered design process in developing a mental health chatbot and assess the feasibility of providing a chat-based mental health support and its effectiveness. Because this is user-centered design, we need your input as a potential user of the chat-based intervention. Your input will help in identifying the requirements and design considerations for the chatbot.

As a UP student, you can participate in an online survey. The online survey will elicit concerns and problems that students would like to discuss in a chat-based mental health support as well as their perceptions about a mental health chatbot. There is also an optional interview that will elicit in-depth information on the students' needs, expectations and design requirements of the mental health chatbot to be developed. Interview participants will come from those who completed the online survey or chat service component of the study.

By participating in the study, you will help us understand what mental health support students need. Your input will be used to design a mental health chatbot and you will help in advancing mental health research for Filipino youth. If you are interested in participating in the study, please sign up using this link or scan the attached QR code. Send us an email at [email protected] for any questions, clarifications or concerns about this research.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS (UPD Students): User-Centered Design of a Mental Health Chatbot

The target participants of this study are university students. Students can participate in two ways:

a) participation through an online survey, and/or
b) participation through the use of chat service in a mobile app

The online survey will elicit concerns and problems that students would like to discuss in a chat-based mental health support as well as their perceptions about a mental health chatbot. The chat service provides mental health support through a chat feature in an app. A mobile application will be downloaded, and in its chat feature, a student could connect to a licensed mental health professional and chat anonymously.

As we continue through Mental Health Awareness Month, let's remember that gratitude is a practice that can be incorporated into our daily lives. 🀲🏼 And remember, gratitude is contagious! 🌟 When we express gratitude, not only do we uplift ourselves, but we also inspire others to do the same. When we express gratitude, we not only uplift ourselves - we also inspire others to do the same. By sharing our gratitude, we can create a ripple effect that spreads positivity and uplifts those around us.

So today, we encourage you to share your gratitude in one of three ways:

πŸ“ Share your gratitude on your posts: Post about the things you're grateful for on your social media platforms.

πŸ™ Express gratitude to someone privately: Reach out to a loved one and thank them for something they've done through private message. πŸ’Œ

And don't forget to add a gratitude journal to your daily routine! πŸ“”πŸ–‹οΈ Writing down the things you're grateful for can help you cultivate a positive outlook and reduce stress. ✍️

Taking the time to appreciate the good in our lives can help us build resilience and find joy in the present moment. So let's make gratitude a daily habit and keep celebrating the power of gratitude beyond this month! β€οΈπŸ™πŸΌ

Lastly, we want to wish all the mothers out there a happy and blessed Mother's Day! 🌸🌷🌺 Thank you for all that you do and for being a source of love and strength for your families. πŸ’•
