𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬

The Campus Journalism Act of 1991, or Republic Act No. 7079 is a law that gives student journalists the power to write, publish, and speak their truth without fear of censorship.

It promotes editorial independence and ensures funds are allocated to support campus papers. While challenges like delayed funding still exist, the law remains a strong voice for student journalists.

Let this be a reminder that every student voice deserves to be heard. Speak the truth, write with purpose.

On this day, the Datu of Mactan, Lapu-Lapu, led the warriors who defeated Spanish forces commanded by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan.

To honor the victory of Lapu-Lapu, Former President Rodrigo Duterte has signed Republic Act 11040, declaring April 27 a 'special working public holiday’ throughout the country in honor of the hero Lapu-Lapu.

Today, we honor Lapu-Lapu, a hero who deserves to be remembered, recognized, and celebrated by all Filipinos.

Enrollment for School Year 2026–2027 at North Fairview High School is ongoing. The enrollment is open to incoming GRADE 7 STUDENTS, TRANSFEREES, SNED students, and OTHER GRADE LEVELS.

The enrollment process is being held from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the NFHS Covered Court.

NEW STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED to submit the following:

•School Report Card (SF9)
•PSA/NSO Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
•Reading Assessment Result for incoming Grade 7
•Three copies of 1x1 ID photos with white background
•Long brown envelope
•Pen

School officials also clarified that students who were unable to enroll during the March 31 schedule may still proceed with their enrollment.
