Our little learners filled the room with smiles, play, exploration, and happy little moments.

We’re hoping the rain will end soon so we can welcome our little learners back to the room!

Following the official announcement of the Quezon City Government, face-to-face classes in all levels of public and private schools in Quezon City are suspended tomorrow, August 18, 2026 (Tuesday) due to the expected heavy rainfall.

PIO will not hold face-to-face classes tomorrow. Alternative learning activities, if applicable, will be communicated by the school.

Please prioritize the safety and well-being of our children and families. We encourage everyone to stay safe and remain at home when necessary.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Due to the orange rainfall warning issued by PAG-ASA in Metro Manila and the declaration of Quezon City's class suspension, PIO Preschool suspends afternoon classes today, August 17, 2026 (Monday).

We are taking a precautionary approach because of the young age of our learners and the need to prioritize their safety, as well as the safety of their families and our staff.

We encourage everyone to remain at home and avoid unnecessary travel during the heavy rainfall.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. The safety and well-being of our learners remain our priority.

Our Shooting Stars (ages 2–3) explored “Me and Myself” through simple functional play activities with their parents.

They practiced looking at themselves in the mirror, reaching, pointing, making gestures, and exploring learning materials—while enjoying meaningful moments of play, interaction, and bonding with their parents.

Through play, our little ones are learning about themselves, their bodies, and their relationships with the people who care for them. 🌱

Today, we look back with grateful hearts. 🌱

PIO is more than a preschool. It is a place where we hope every child feels seen, valued, encouraged, and free to discover.

Following the Quezon City Government’s announcement suspending face-to-face classes in all public and private schools, including child development centers and kindergarten, on August 11, 2026, PIO classes will remain suspended.

This is also in accordance with DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024, which provides for the suspension of classes under an Orange Rainfall Warning.

We understand the importance of continuing our children’s learning journey, but the safety and well-being of our students, families, and teachers will always come first.

Any necessary adjustments to the class schedule will be discussed and communicated once classes resume.
