Last May 1, the ChEer UP Pinoy team held CUP-it Bisig 2026 at the National Children’s Hospital together with Little Ark Foundation (LAF)! Our short program contained colorful activities and fun treats for the children of LAF, giving them a well-needed short break from their battles.

We would also like to thank our partners, donors, and our volunteers for helping us cheer up these amazing children. This event would not be possible without your support.

Basic literacy is the foundation of every learner’s success, yet many Filipino students continue to struggle with reading, writing, and numeracy at expected levels. 📚🇵🇭 These challenges reflect a deeper learning crisis that affects not only academic performance, but also future opportunities in work and life.
Despite years in school, a significant number of students are still unable to meet foundational competencies, showing the widening learning gap across grade levels. This is further affected by factors such as poverty, limited access to resources, and systemic challenges within the education system.
Addressing this crisis requires urgent and collective action—from improving access to quality education, strengthening teacher support, and ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to build strong foundational skills. 🏫✨
