MMISMO student volunteers in action in servant-leadership training
The Maryknoll-Miriam Identity, Spirituality, and Mission Office (MMISMO) facilitated “Servant Leadership: Leading with Heart & Service”, a training session for S.Y. 25-26 Lingkod Mag-aaral volunteers yesterday, February 9, 2026, at the ESI Conference Room.
MMISMO Head Ms. Veronica Ross, LPT, RSW SDipPPW and Volunteer Program Coordinator Ms. Isabela Marie Uytengsu, LPT, led the discussion on how student-leaders can imbibe the Miriam Spirituality as they serve the school community.
A workshop was held in the afternoon to further strengthen their creativity and collaboration skills in developing service-learning projects. They spotlighted issues faced by various communities and conceptualized concrete campaigns to address these.
The volunteers also formally took an oath, reigniting their commitment to follow the footsteps of the Maryknoll sisters in making God’s love more visible through service and volunteerism.
