DISASTERS ARE STATE-SPONSORED CRIMES! DISASTERS ARE STATE-ALLOWED VIOLENCE AGAINST VULNERABLE SECTORS.
Ang matinding hagupit ng kalikasan ay hindi lamang likas na trahedya; ito ay malagim na ganti sa krimen ng kapabayaan at sa walang-sawang pagkagahaman ng mga nasa kapangyarihan at ng sistemang kapitalista.
Dahil sa kanilang pikit-matang katiwalian at pagpapaubaya sa mapaminsalang pagmimina, logging, at land conversion, hindi ginampanan ng gubyerno ang kanyang State Responsibility na protektahan ang mamamayan at ang kalikasan.
Ang bigat ng krisis ay laging bumabagsak sa mga pinakabulnerableng sektor, lalo na sa ating mga kababaihan, na bukod sa kapahamakan ay lantad pa sa karahasan at pang-aabuso.
Ang bawat disaster ay hindi aksidenteβito ay gawa ng mga lumabag sa batas. Ito ay pananagutan ng Estado. Kaya't ang gobyerno at ang mga gahaman sa salapi at posisyon ang dapat managot, singilin, at kasuhan sa ilalim ng batas para sa bawat buhay na nawala, bawat kapahamakang dinanas, bawat kabuhayang winasak, at sa pagkabigong tuparin ang kanilang tungkulin na pangalagaan ang buhay at karapatan ng mamamayan.

Disasters and Violence Against Women.
During disasters and calamities, women often face heightened risks of violence and abuse. The loss of homes, livelihood, and security can lead to overcrowded shelters and unsafe conditions where women and girls become more vulnerable to sexual harassment, exploitation, and domestic violence. In times of crisis, protection and gender-sensitive response must be prioritizedβensuring that relief, recovery, and rebuilding efforts uphold womenβs rights and dignity. πΈπͺ Stop violence against women, even in times of disaster.

Araw-araw, may babaeng dumaranas ng karahasan -- sa tahanan, sa lansangan, sa lugar-paggawa, sa eskwelahan, sa lugar-sambahan, sa mga lugar na sentro ng kapangyarihan.
Ngayong buwan ng Nobyembre, itatampok ng Kaisa Ka ang 2025: Laban sa Lahat ng Anyo ng Karahasan sa Kababaihan at sa Bayan.
