Last May 14, 2026 (Thursday), the NU Fairview - Association of Computer Engineering Students proudly held the 𝗖𝗽𝗘 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 at the 5th Floor Function Hall in recognition of the 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 per year level for the 2nd Term of Academic Year 2025–2026.

The event was hosted by 𝗥𝗮𝗲 𝗭𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮, ACPES President, together with 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘇, COMEX Head, as they led the celebration honoring the outstanding academic achievements of our fellow CpE students, with the support and guidance of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴, SET Associate Dean and CpE Program Chair.

Senior Computer Engineering students had the opportunity to explore and learn beyond the classroom during their Educational Tour in Laguna. The trip included visits to Festo, Lucky Me! Noodle Factory, Gardenia Plant Tour, and TDK Philippines Corporation, where students observed real industry operations and gained insights into manufacturing, automation, and engineering processes.

The tour was not only about learning but also about creating memories together. The experience ended with a fun visit to Enchanted Kingdom, where everyone had the chance to relax and enjoy after a day of educational exploration.

Last 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆), 𝗡𝗨 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 students gathered at 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝟰𝟭𝟯 (𝗔𝗩𝗥) for an insightful seminar on AI Agent Architecture.

With the guest speaker, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗼, students explored the journey of AI agents from theoretical foundations to practical implementation, learning about architecture, design, and real-world applications. The seminar was open to all Computer Engineering students providing a platform for knowledge sharing and engagement.

The event was successfully hosted by the 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 students from 𝗖𝗽𝗘 - 𝟮𝟮𝟮 together with their instructor, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗼, showcasing leadership, teamwork, and initiative.

As future Computer Engineers, this seminar strengthened students with the technical knowledge, practical insights, and innovative mindset they need to confidently step into the world of AI and technology.

Today, we remember the EDSA 1986 People Power Revolution, a defining moment in our nation’s history where courage, unity, and peaceful action changed the course of the country. It was a time when Filipinos stood together and proved that real change begins when people choose to speak up and stand their ground.

EDSA reminds us that true power comes from the people. It shows us that freedom and democracy are not simply given. They are protected by those who are willing to care, to question, and to take responsibility. The lessons of that moment still matter today, especially in a time when truth, compassion, and accountability are needed more than ever.

As students and future professionals in technology and innovation, we carry a responsibility beyond the classroom. The skills we develop and the platforms we use can help shape conversations, share the truth, and create meaningful impact in our communities. Small actions, when done with purpose, can lead to real change.
